Chisora just dropped his guard completely in that round. What was the point in that?

edit: swinging wildly whilst Haye is tagging his face over and over. As soon as he let his hands go down and stopped bobbing when he came forward he was done for.

To be fair to him - he was hurting Haye with his shots, then tried to change the plan and hit him with a few more in that final round. Way too open - had to try and take it into the latter stages.

How many rounds did Chisora go against klitschko? The explosiveness of Haye was too much. It's easy for Haye to unload on someone like Chisora, but against a better opponent (a klitschko) he comes unstuck.

Should probably not trust the 7-11 security cameras quite so much
Chisora changed to phase 2 of his gameplan far too early. Haye was not tired enough for him to stop guarding properly, it was embarrassingly easy for Haye to just unload on him. Haye controlled every round but both fighters landed some decent blows, had Chisora waited one or two more rounds he might have hand a chance.

Yeah he did catch him a few times. But he was boxing in round 5 as if it was round 10 and he needed a KO!

Pretty much this - Haye was blowing, sure, but there's no way he was tired enough. Fair play to both though, some nice sportsmanship at the end. You guys all staying up for Kahn?

DelBoy is a Tall Guy specialist; he does well against guys with the height of a Fury, or Helenius, or Vitali, where his wild, looping overhand rights have more of a shot of landing. Everything he threw at Haye went over his head; no uppercuts, no body blows. This was sparring for Haye, who I still feel is an average heavyweight with decent power and head movement. Chisora is a bully who got his own lunch money taken tonight.

Everyone in the division is average though, aside from Wladimir imo.

I will give Haye credit; he is an explosive puncher, something most heavies in the division aren't. He's also pretty elusive, with good head and foot movement. A good jab short circuits him though, which is why he'll never beat Wladimir or Vitali.

I agree - I watched him against Wladimir and bought into the talk pre fight that Haye would be too explosive for him. But that jab is something else - especially when it's cannoning in on you for 12 rounds. Haye is a good addition to the division though - be interesting to see what happens, if as Vitali is saying his next fight will be his last, to the division.

All said and done though it's my least favourite division to watch - the Kahn Garcia fight is more up my street. Kahn within the distance for me.

It's always exciting to watch Khan. He's so fast and powerful, technically great, but he's always vulnerable. I hope this dosn't get stopped because of the cut.

Caveman boxing wins. Garcia is not world class. He is just going to be easy picking for someone down the road.

It's a shame someone as talented as Khan is always held back by his glass jaw.
