Sad to see Fury bitching about losing, Usyk was a more clear winner than last time, and the ai judge made the score even wider as it would just basing its judging on actual facts not a real humans opinion.

Usyk clearly one of those goats, Fury mearly one of the best of his time. Clearly there's levels between Usyk and everyone else.

Fury was always a little bitch. But now that he is losing, he shows it much more.

I was convinced Fury had won this and the commentators (on Amazon / TNT) were saying the same. Was very surprised that Usyk won.

So I'm Usyk's biggest fanboy but a couple of things really annoy me about the discourse since he beat Furys Twice.

1. People saying he's 100% completed boxing.

No! A champions work is never done your meant to defend your titles. If people want to use an equally idiotic gamer term he's in the end game now.

2. He should retire.

This one I really don't get people want to see one of greatest boxers of our generation just retire when he's still really good? Why because he might lose and taint his legacy? Well that's the risk you take if you want to be one of the all time greats and it should he applauded for attempting it.

Now don't get me wrong if he's personally done with the sport he should retire. He's had a ATG career already and can sail off into the sunset however if he's still motivated to fight let's see him fight!

Plenty of interesting match up to make. Dubois vs Parker winner, Zhang vs Kabayel winner. Go back down to Crusier and fight Opetaia. I think he will be the first Heavyweight champ to go down to Crusierweight and win a title if he wins.

Let's not be so hasty to see one of the all time greats just up and leave.

O shit it's already over. 5 rounds was all Usyk needed.

Dude was superior from the first second.

Usyk is the only all-time great heavyweight boxer of the past 20 years.
Utter tripe.

Only butt hurt Americans wouldn't put the klitschkos as all time greats. Wlad alone has more unique opponents in title fights than any champion in history. Vitali barely lost round after the lewis fight.

Utterly ridiculous not to have them as all time greats.

I know the arguments already " but they fought in weak era" blah blah fucking blah. That didn't stop fury waiting till Vladimir was frigging 39 to fight him.

LOL @ the butt hurt Americans.

Unfortunately, I am indeed American myself—and I've been a hardcore boxing fan since the '80s, with decades spent studying the sport's history.

When it comes to heavyweights, I do rate the Klitschkos as all-time greats.

But what I was actually saying is that Usyk belongs among the all-time greats of boxing overall, not just in the heavyweight division.

That said, I'd probably rank Usyk a bit lower on the all-time list—not because of anything lacking in his own skill or achievements, but simply because the overall level of competition in his era hasn't been as deep as in some past generations.

Ah okay got you.

Sorry was a little aggressive in the other post!

I would agree in Usyk's resume is lacking a bit off depth especially at Heavyweight. Not really his fault as he started late after being in the amateurs a long time.

One of the reasons why I don't get the calls for retirements especially as he's still really good and we would miss some potentially really good fights.

People want to see him retire undefeated which I think personally is a meaningless stat.
