Well, that's true. I can't believe this show was aimed at kids tbh. The drama and twists were just too much.

The anime was directed by people who didn't really care who their demographic was, Ikuhara especially. Daimon extracting heart crystals by physical seduction methods in S is a nice example, but rape imagery and symbolism in Supers will always take the cake on that one.

If the show actually exists, yeah. Aniplex did the same thing with Fate/Zero if you recall. It was on Nico a week before the episodes went up on Crunchyroll.

Oh. They had it up at the moment each episode was broadcast in Japan, and had subs in English and various other languages including I think Spanish and Traditional and Simplified Chinese. It was pretty cool. Video quality was higher than normal SD, but not quite 720p at that time iirc, and it was hardsubbed based on the language region you selected.

Once it went up it would stay up free for the entire week iirc. It wasn't a live stream. I really liked the way they handled it, and they were really friendly towards availability in regional territories too.
