I don't think Walt is going to die like that. Sure it'll all come back around and hit him but he's not that hopeless and will not accept defeat.

I honestly can't predict anything since it's so open-ended.

I'm not picturing him accepting it. I'm picturing everything he's done catching up to him and him fruitlessly fighting his cancer as it destroys him.

That's pretty much the only way this show can end. They clearly set Walt down the true bad guy path, and Jesse is just one of his victims. Given that in this show no bad deed goes unpunished, Walt is in for a reckoning.

He coughed a bit towards the end of S4 and shrugged off his cancer screening as being fine, but we don't know that to be true since we didn't hear the diagnosis for ourselves. He could very well have cancer again, but wants to end his life riding high as a criminal kingpin, only to have it all come crashing down on him.
They will Red Dead Redemption the ending.

Let's c-c-cook.

I can understand the cancer returning angle. However, I feel like that would be an easy out for Walt. It is something out of his control consuming him. His actions are the real cancer now. I would not mind seeing serious symptoms flare up that turn out not to be cancer at all. During the final days of his cancer scare he tries to make peace with his end. He confesses his wrongs to clear his conscience and alienates everyone around him. Then - cancer gone. It was just a reaction to some cook he wasn't careful enough with. He will live a long and healthy life
in prison for 20-30 years.
Alone. No power. No prominence. No pride.

^I just wonder if they will really go with a 'happily ever after' ending or if it'll be a 'you must pay for consequences' ending...

I want them to flash forward to Walter's son running the business with big brother jesse after Walter gets life in prison.

They need to end this show like no other show ever dared to before.

Have Walt on top, his empire is unbeatable but everyone he's ever cared about is either dead or doesn't accept him.

Having the bad guy win for a change would be great.

Just don't end it like Death Note.

I just finished watching season 4 and I am stunned. Just finished the last episode an hour ago and have been reading up on the thread and various interviews and imdb forums. Unbelievable stuff. Gus is my dad's name, by the way. lol

Isn't this basically how
The Shield
ended?

This poster pulses with an appeal so broad the typical restraints of our societies fall by the wayside.

Putting that in spoilers doesn't really help. No one's going to know if they should highlight or not. Just saying — there's been a lot of other shows spoiled for people in this thread already. Someone might get pissed.

Seriously. I just highlighted it not having any idea what I was getting into. I planned on watching that show so I'm a little sad, but I bet others will be pissed.

Don't forget to set your DVRs for this Sunday's episode of America in Primetime on PBS. Vince Gilligan and Bryan Cranston are featured on this week's episode.

Looking forward to this, I hope its pretty lengthy.

Also the description reminds me of this scene...

Just saw that Breaking Bad will air in The Netherlands in 2 months! Very glad to see that the show finally makes it's way over here! Can't believe it took so long.

Now let's hope people watch it... That has been the hardest part so far - trying to convince people to watch this show. It's hard to explain what it is about :( I hope they use the same way as they aired all 5 Dexter seasons over here - every day a new episode so you can finish it all in 2 weeks rather than 13 weeks. :p

can someone shop Walt's head over the guy. It paints a perfect picture of, "I have to take care of my family, can you understand that?"

So guys, I completely missed out on the fourth season. What's the best way to catch up on all the episodes I missed? Will AMC be running a marathon anytime soon? Netflix?

Don't expect an AMC marathon until right before Season 5 starts.
Netflix only has seasons 1-3.

Try iTunes.

And if everything _dementia said fails, choose from the numerous sources online that are less-than-legal.

Gah. The iTunes route is expensive. Any ideas when the fourth season might appear on Netflix?

Will we be doing a re-watch marathon before S05? I just finished watching the whole series back to back, but tbh I wouldn't mind doing it all over again. :lol

I just started Season 1 after seeing that it's available on Canadian Netflix now. I've heard so much about this show, can't wait to get the ball rolling. Only up to Ep. 3 right now, I dig it so far.

^Walt is a scientist, yo.

PS. I'm going to rewatch some of my favorite scenes now, like when Walt has to bear through watching that karaoke video of Major Tom. That was such a funny yet sad moment.

I just finished season 4, that was such an awesome finale I'm actually at a loss for words.

Things were getting pretty grim there towards the end but damn that was great.

These Arrested Development - Breaking Bad crossovers are killing me. I am laughing. HARD.

Just need a "Her?" and a "I've made a huge mistake."

Saul Goodman is clearly the linchpin. More AD cameos in Breaking Bad would only make the show better.

I've started watching Breaking bad 1-4 over the past few weeks and Walking dead. I have to say AMC has been really pumping great shows as of late. Now I have to wait for season 5 :(
