He could be guilty of the conspiracy, administering alcohol, and perhaps even the attempted lewd act. But I think he'll get away from the Lewd act on a child charges

the analysts are morons... the lewd acts and alcohol to commit molestation charges have to be BEYOND A REASONABLE DOUBT. those 9 charges are not simply belief supported by a preponderance of evidence. the conspiracy charge does not have to be beyond a reasonable doubt, but that among all of the charges is the shakiest (and that is saying a lot).

if justice is truly served, he will be acquitted on all charges

if the jury really wants to get michael but still uphold the law, he will be charged with four counts of contributing to the deliquincy of a minor

if they just really want him to go away, he will be convicted of all 10 counts

those are the only three options.

I was just listening to Fox Sports Radio and they said they were going to carry the verdict as it's read, live. So I imagine every TV station on the planet will have it live as well.

I would love it if MJ was found innocent and afterwards took off his wig, reverted to his natural African-American voice and told all his wacko fans to fuck off and to stop bothering him.

This whole trial is a fuckin sham, the man may well be guilty but not beyond reasonable doubt, no way.

conspiracy is the shakiest. there is nothing at all linking him to any supposed conspiracy, which in and of itself is highly questionable (as in you really have to make a stretch to believe it). So there is a near impossible to believe conspiracy that you have to buy first, and then you have to believe the mother and only the mother, that jackson was in on it even though there isn't a single piece of even circumstantial evidence to support it.

administering alcohol is just like the lewd act charges. the only proof of it are the boys' words. the testimony given by others in regards to the alcohol had jackson not even at the ranch when the boys were caught with it. this is where the judges addendums to the charges come in. it would be difficult for the jury to convict him of administering alcohol based on nothing but the boys' words. it was testified to be known by him though that the boys did have access to alcohol on more than one occassion.

but we'll see.

I know he's been offered assylum in some island country but he hasn't taken it. I still can't understand why he's still living in the US to begin with; he would of had a much better life if he moved out of the country after the 1st incident.

I have no idea what Sports Talk Radio has to do with this. I'm curious as to what the verdict is, but they don't need to break into the discussions on the NBA Finals and Mike Tyson to let me know. :)

Robert Shapiro on CNN predicts that "M.J. is not going to get a verdict that has him singing Beat It". LOL. I am TIVO'n this whole thing (I know I'm a dork). :D

MSNBC is reporting that they aren't even going to get there till 4:45. So he's going to be late twice (for the 4:30 and 4:45 times). Damn, even on the day of his verdict he can't get there on time.

The Jackson verdict is clearly going to spark a civil war within the United States. Tension has been brewing since OJ and the last two elections.

Its pretty clear that the prosecution has thrown out a wide net here across a large degree of charges: conspiracy, attempt, actual crime. I'm not sure if Jackson can get away from everything. I think there is enough reasonable doubt to get away from all the heavy stuff though. After going back through the burden of proof for conspiracy - you may be right as there was never actually shown anything related to kidnap - at least I don't think its to the level of the charge. But conspiracy is always a shaky one that can go either way depending on how the evidence sits with the jury. That one is 'up in the air'. The actual crimes - there shouldn't be any doubt that there isn't enough evidence for those. The attempts... those are a little more likely to stick.

I just realised this could really fuck over Weird Al Yankovich NOT GOOD.

Impossible, i'm surprised he hasn't made more on all the nutjobs in the industry right now. I've noticed he's really staying away from rappers ever since the Eminem incident. He's probably scared of 50cent.
