Nifty AND saffron-colored!
What an utterly idiotic thing to say. You want to ruin the lives off millions of people purely out of spite?
No, he wants the UK to be made an example of what happens when you employ a scorched earth strategy on your own soil. Deters others from doing the same.

So Mr Jaunker

Next time we say we want a new deal, you will listen...

Let's not forget had Cameron's reform been anything offer that pathetic we would of probably voted to remain...the EU had a hand in this

This. Fucking this.

Rule Britannia!

I'm out to lunch and I can overhear this British dude on the phone and he's losing it. This currency thing seems to be screwing him big time.

Yup. The economy is crashing hard over there. Pretty fucking hard. And the thing is, it's at an insane pace. People don't have time to react to safeguard their money because it literally happened overnight.

This sucks. Alot. It sucks a fucking lot. And people are going to lose their jobs all around the country(And outside of the country as well.)

It sucks.

So if Cameron resigns, does that mean we have to deal with Boris for a few years?

Not a fan of Cameron but he's better than that bumbling idiot.

If Cameron speaks and says he will stay and work on negotiations the markets will stabilise slightly, if he resigns it'll be worse than 2008

So Scotland is told it needs to remain in the UK in order to stay in the EU and now they've been dumped out by England. Well done little Brexiters, you may just have destroyed the United Kingdom.

Wrong picture. Scotland is more europhile than ever and may even split with the UK in the near future. Oh, wait...the picture does actually fit perfectly. XD

how the fuck must it feel for Cameron to know that he was so fucking stupid to put this to a simple vote and realize that he's utterly fucked the country

how do you live the rest of your life knowing that you were the cause of it all? gadzooks.

Feeling for you Remainers and ScotGAF. Really hoping you guys pull through this oncoming wave of shit.

Sometimes it feels like a panda could sneeze in China and people on this forum would be talking about what does this mean for Trump? He has become some kind of urban legend. The guy is in one of the worst positions a potential nominee has been in since Goldwater and everyone is so scared of him.

I mean, it does have parallels to this vote. Hyper nationalists win the day despite the outcome.

The short term worst of it is, all this uncertainty about what's going to happen isn't going to go away any time soon.

It's going to take ages before the details will be hashed out, of the leave, of any new trade agreements, etc etc. We're looking at months if not a year or more of uncertainty. That's before we find out the real details which could be better or worse than what's feared... but...

Yeah. Enjoy months of economic uncertainty. Have fun with that. Congrats Leave.

The unwashed masses literally don't know what's good for them a lot of the time, what is the country's best interest and how it should behave.

Yes, too much direct democracy can be bad. As shown by this very thread.
Wow, how high is that horse you are on?

Scotland can apparently trigger something that would delay Brexit for 10 years if we don't get a referendum. Something to do with us voting to stay in the UK guaranteeing us staying in Europe.

I think anyway.

First I have heard of it. I guess we will find out.

I still can't believe we did it, in the face of all the threats from Juncker et al, our own Chancellors punishment budget, WW3 omens. So proud of the people on these islands right now. Rule Britannia!

Or maybe they're more politically active voters and workers, with more experience, who know better than 18-24year old kids the decline in real wages and conditions and the hyperinflation of the wealth gap between the haves and haves not, who aren't as easily fed lines to regurgitate on message boards, who don't swallow the nebulous "economy" as the centre of all importance, but actually care about decisions which impact on them?
Are you serious with this garbage? The way they vote contributes to those exact problems.

Crow is what you serve on a plate when your favorite game gets a higher metacritic score than expected not when the whole country is fucked. Not a laughing matter at all.

I'm talking about the guy who repeated on every page 'Remain will win' and offered to face riducule for being wrong.

And the country isn't fucked, it's a glorious day.

Yeah the arguments and such over transfers of laws would take a generation, there are so many laws needed to be rewritten and no actual idea between experts of how that will work, you have no idea what this has started lol, clusterfuck central. There is even a growing opinion in legal circles that Scotlands parliament would have to agree to be removed from the EU, convention demands it, right ordering 20 years worth of popcorn.

....right.

You know how obnoxious this is right? Everyone decrying the decision and people who made it because its not the one they wanted. Thinking that you are actually smarter, or know more on the subject, have a more valuable opinion or the right opinion.

the bigger countries are over represented and push around the smaller countries

the EU should not be proportional by population, the EU should be every member state is an equal no matter how big or small the country is.

I am not a fan of the way Germany treated Greece mind you
Do you really believe, that many of the smaller countries had a better time without the EU? Maybe the EU really needs to collapse, so that people get reminded, why there were so much benefits with it. If there ever will be another chance.

As an international student studying in London, I now have even less idea about my future.

Gonna take 2 years to negotiate out of Europe, in that time we will still be a part of it with all regulations and such.

Realistic answer?

Scotland 5 years minimum. We just had one and even though things have changed there is no way any UK government is going to hold another one before at least one more election cycle.

Northern Ireland. Unchanged, Ireland as a whole (North & Republic) is currently enjoying the benefits of the good friday agreement referendum (oh the irony) and if unification was to happen it would be a gradual peaceful one as attitudes changed due to long term peace.
Interesting. Thanks for the info.

Okay, couple of questions.

1) What happens when markets open?

2) What happens if it's 'bad'?

3) What is the likelihood of inflation and recession etc?
