Look at the fucking GDP right now and tell me it's great news for U.K. citizens. You haven't a clue.
Well duh they voted to leave.

US pollsters > UK pollsters basically

The leave people on the BBC are pissing me off, blah blah blah just talking a load of shit, you've fucked us all over. A period of reflection? Reflect my ass.
Just another reminder that being "Anti-establishment" devoid of any thought about what exactly that would entail is just a semantic handle for an empty concept. You forgot that they told the UK economy to go fuck itself too.
Oh hell, does all of Europe want to emulate the fucking Balkans now? What were you even doing for the past 70 years, just putting on a feel-good show?
Can we join the North American Free Trade Agreement... seriously, we might need it...
Fuck, it pains me to see how avoidable of a disaster this will be. All in the name of xenophobic pettiness.
Really? Did you watch any news during the last 12 months?
Funny thing about cogs: they don't work without other cogs, no matter how big they are.I don't see much pushback against a second referendum tbh. There will be no "vow" this time, but I do think it will be an interesting debate for the Scots: be a big cog in an independent UK or be a small dog in the EU.
Actually no
If the EU is still alive the trade agreements will benefit them, they have no reason to offer EU deals since that is the entire incentive to remain at the EU and offering the same deals to someone outside would make being in the trade block pointless
Blame whoever couldn't color within the lines. :>I wonder how Ireland feels about them taking Donegal with them lol?
Have free access to the common market or to the UK market... Hmm
Not a chance, London will forever shaft us.
All we've had so far is a few drive-bys gloating. I don't think any of them are interested in explaining why the currency is tanking and why a bunch of companies are announcing that they're leaving, much less explaining how those are good things.
If the pro-leave posts in this thread have shown me anything. It's that basically they wanted to give a giant finger to everyone and all other consequences be damned? Is that the deal here or what?!
Yep domino effect incoming. Not sure if the EU will still be a thing in 2 years.
I understand you are angry and it sucks, you see this after every election, this will probably be more so, your mindset now should veer more towards
a) What more you could have done and how can you apply that in the future
b) What comes next and how to negotiate it as best as you can
You cant get angry at people for exercising their democratic process, you can be angry at the leaders, the people who misled them (if you feel they have been misled).
Democracy at it's finest. I'm sad.If the pro-leave posts in this thread have shown me anything. It's that basically they wanted to give a giant finger to everyone and all other consequences be damned? Is that the deal here or what? Because ignoring the immediate aftermath seems kind of fucked up right now.
I'm over here on the other side of the world watching market futures nervously because 1 million people wanted to say fuck you to David Cameron and some other politicians? Really?!
This is why "anti-Establishment" is so idiotic. If the pro-leave posts in this thread have shown me anything. Well everyone's watching now, depending on the outcome of this in the following year(s) we might see more countries wanting to leave.
Just another reminder that being "Anti-establishment" devoid of any thought about what exactly that would entail is just a semantic handle for an empty concept.
But actually working to understand and change systems to accomplish tangible progress is hard, so let's just burn it all down and then uhhhhhhhhhhhh... Profit!!!
At least those filthy foreigners will now stay out of the country, amirite?

My French is rusty but I assume there are calling for the French to choose to leave the EU as well?
When did the world became so racist?
Hillary is a shoo in if voters come out to vote and they will because the people who hate Trump really hate him. I mean do these violent protests tell you nothing about the way people feel about Trump and his supporters?
When did the world became so racist?
You do realize this is because of the initial shock because no one really expected that result. It will obviously bounce back (not 100% also obvious).
No, it's just that most of us know we're not going to convince you, and also know you'll not change our minds, so it's kind of a waste of time.
I agree. Cameron needs to discount this and resign. It's not about his career, it's about the future of this country, and it is about the future of Europe.I hope to fuck the government ignores this or calls for another referendum (as it is so close).
It is such an unmitigated disaster that something has to be done.
Article 50.
2 years.
Bounce back? To $1.48? Then the economists are all wrong?
Scotland is leaving the U.K. and Northern Ireland is very very likely to follow.

We've done 'okay' out of the Barnett formula thus far. But overall, a significant amount of what would be Scotland's GDP is funnelled through Westminster first.I asked earlier and got a few responses, but I'm seriously wondering. Can an independent Scotland support itself economically?
From my limited understanding, Scotland's economy is significantly subsidized by England.
At what cost? Is countless people losing their jobs worth throwing a political temper tantrum?
I wonder how Ireland feels about them taking Donegal with them lol?
