Sort of off topic, but I took a module in population dynamics at uni and my lecturer told us something that blew my mind.
Sometimes for the fisherman, the best economic choice is to fish stocks to extinction and invest the money you make, because a lot of sea creatures replenish stocks at a slower rate than the average return on investments.
Basically you can't trust the fishing industry to make the right choice on fishing levels, they need to be regulated from the outside.

OK I think I have it worked out. Firstly I refuse to believe an evolved ape would be this incompetent. I have to believe at this point that everything the remain side are doing is aimed at NOT convincing leavers but SCARING the ever loving fuck out of people that want to remain. They want to scare their remain supporters so much that they will actually go out and vote to ensure that leave does not win.
The only other reality is that Georgie and Davie really are incompetent fuckwits and neither should be in charge of a Kebab stand let alone a multi-trillion dollar country
There you have it folks, anything not decided by referendum is not democracy. In case you haven't noticed you live in an indirect democracy where you elect representatives to a governing body. These representatives are then supposed to make informed decisions on your behalf, in order to avoid situations like, I dunno, an uninformed electorate voting themselves out of an economic bloc they massively benefit from due to race-baiting and utter lies from wealthy opportunists and their media backers.
Maybe you should take a glance at your monarchy and house of lords if you are indeed a champion of democracy? Both of which being utterly undemocratic compared to the EU.
You haven't a fucking clue, unsurprisingly. If you think either republicans are going to tolerate British border checkpoints, or unionists are going to tolerate reunification, you are bonkers. The rest of this is utter drivel, Northern Ireland more than anywhere else in the UK deals with the reality of bordering the EU on a daily basis and has benefitted massively from this, but now the livelihoods of the populace are at risk thanks to the lies of the Leave campaign.
And if you don't want to spend money on Northern Ireland then you're kind of fucked when the EU pulls out the massive investments it has made since the Good Friday agreement.
The EU is a fucking economic bloc, what are you even talking about now? Any involvement in foreign wars is due to your membership of NATO and the UN, except when you ignore their advice to follow America into the Middle East. Nothing to do with the EU.

Well honestly, what else could have happened? Tories are a member of Alliance of European Conservatives and Reformists and thus aligned with European Conservatives and Reformists in the EP. It's an eurosceptic party and group and there are some notable European nationalist parties in there. This should give some implication of their stance in and of the EU. Granted, ECR is not as crazy as EFDD or ENL, but to have Tories leading the remain campaign could only end in what we've seen.

Also worked in the Indy Refendum here in Scotland, won't work next time, since they all lied about our EU status being safe in UK.
But he does it a little less and seems far more confident when doing so. All MP's side step stuff, but Gove seems to not get annoyed etc when doing so. When Cameron and Osborne do the same, you can see them both panicking.
what he did was presume that Labour and anyone on remain would simply back him with his punishment rhetoric....
probably any other Labour leader might of done so to win, But Corbyn is unique in that way, and so when he said live at PMQ's he would not be supporting it, privately it would of been hugely embarrassing...
The PM tried to gloss it over by saying they did not want a budget either

That and EU black hole, taking our money is all I hear people shouting about. People in the coffee shop recently chatting about getting out breed, our services can't handle more people, they're all looking for hand outs, wait until Turks etc. arrive in their thousands. They talk like it's the end of days.

Isn't it ironic now that one of the main discussions during the Scottish referendum campaign was how Scotland won't get into EU that easily and by voting No they actually voted to get out of the EU anyhow if the Brexit goes on?
Gives them another excuse to hold another referendum to get out if leave wins.

Yeah it was one of my concerns and hence why I voted to stay in UK, to say I'm pissed would be an understatement and I'm fucking raging but that's life, any future no campaign will have serious questions now over that, no one will believe them, thankfully.

Clearly my information is (many, I'm older than I thought) years out of date, but I remember there being a reasonable BNP following on there a few years back.. You don't think that the owner of a sites politics shapes the type of community it attracts? I swore off OCUK when the BNP story landed, and since got out of PC building so haven't had a reason to revisit who owns the place.
