I wasn't christmassy, but then I put up my decorations (inside, never bothered with outside) and watched Jingle All the Way and Home Alone in quick succession the next day. Since then I've seen Miracle on 34th Street, Toy Story 1/2 (not necessarily christmassy) and Elf and now I'm fully into it.

Bring on the Christmas dinner!

Christmas Saturday Kitchen's making me feel Christmassy. However, Heston Blumenthal's Christmas Goose dinner looked rubbish compared to a proper Christmas dinner.

Cottage in Cornwall is nice. Local pub has legitimately the best cider I've tasted in yarrs. But because I've never been and it took a few hours to get here, I keep expecting people to dip into another language.

Despite living in Devon for 14 years I only visited Cornwall twice.

I agree, all my childhood holidays from the age of about 3-15 were in Cornwall and I had an amazing time each time I went there. It's such a beautiful place and most of the people are really friendly.

I just finished the first part of the Game of Thrones game, it was really good (omg ending!!) but you can feel the tech/budget straining the same way it does on the tv show. Telltale games are weird to me, they're good but they can also be really dull and hard to get through.

lol wut, the TV show oozes production value, it's absolutely quality.

Also, Telltale are a bunch of embarrassingly inept hacks rushing out boring, poorly coded, barely even interactive games that are both ugly and run like absolute dog shit somehow.

It does well, sure, but the show is constantly straining at the budget. Small crowds, clever re-use of sets, telling and not showing. It's to the show's credit that it does so much with comparatively so little.

Wow! Amazon's help support service (for missing deliveries and rescheduling them at least ) is very quick and easy to sort out. All they need to do is to sort out the number of links you have to go through on their website to get to the right page (perhaps streamlining it), add a few more options and it would be near perfect.

The anti-GAF sites only care about American gaffers, because the people who create them are usually targeting the social and racial issues surrounding GAF (which are mostly prevalent to American headlines at the moment on Off topic) , they are usually American and they are unfamiliar with UK habits, political system and social norms. They don't care about us! It's why UK PoliGAF is a safe haven

Oh man, you must live near me. Can I come and touch your PS4? (Not a euphemism.)

I might need to brave Kingston tomorrow. There was a power cut the other night and it fucked my little heater so I'm going to freeze if it gets much colder.

I'm kinda sad he's not here tbh. The dynamics are lacking.

Anyway London was rad even though trash lord didn't invite me to his party. I visited every museum in London today.

I'm not the biggest museum person but I feel the art museums, at least in London, pale in comparison to the ones in continental Europe. I haven't visited the science ones.
