He's what we like to refer to as a "cornball brotha".

Is there debate in the black community about whether calling a brother "cornball" is a form of black on black racism? It I understand it right (and I might not) it seems to be implicitly demanding a person act a certain way due to the color of their skin, and when they don't, derogating them for it?

So should i really just suck it up and buy Super Mario Galaxy at nintendo prices or save the money for more important things?
Buy it, it's the only reason to actually get a Wii.

Alright, last one. All time sitcom dad?
Uncle Phil. Always.

It can be among Hoteps, but among regular black people. Cornball means the person acts foolish. Like Don Lemon saying "I smell weed in Ferguson" we would say "Look at this cornball here"

I have black friends that vote republican. Are they black?
They're still black, but you should always know why someone votes for each party.
Can I call chocolate bear?

Have you pulled 'angry black guy' on someone?
Only when I feel like fucking with my white friends.

So... What did Michael Jordan really mean when he told Chamillionaire "I don't take pictures with no niggas?"
Jumpman works in mysterious ways.

It's mostly used a joke for black guys that say some stupid shit. In my experiences at least.

Foolish like goofy in a non-specific way, or foolish like being a race traitor? When people say it about Drake I kind of assumed it was because he smiles in photos sometimes. I'll admit I don't know a lot about Drake other than where he started and that he is presently here.

Which is more offensive to hear from an old white guy on TV, "black" or "African American"? Or neither?

"black", but only when used incorrectly as a noun instead of an adjective

black _____ = okay (ex. black man, black woman, black people)

___ black = nope (ex. the blacks, a black, etc.)

It could go either way depending on the context. But for Drake it just means he is goofy in a non specific way. But folks are looking at him in a new light after that murder he committed this summer

Oh well come on everyone should know that, at least!

you'd think so, wouldn't you?

Anyway, personally I prefer black to African-American, but they're both okay. try to save AA for more formal conversational settings, or you'll get looked at like a weirdo because you sound like you're trying too hard for no reason

Black Twitter is a loose collection of folks from all races and origins that spend 90% of the time joking 5% of the time arguing and 5% of the time social activisting . But sometimes they manage to combine the 3 things in different proportions.

You've now answered one of my posts. When in a bind can I name you as a black friend?
Of course.

Bronx, black man to black man, when a woman says "I usually don't go for black guys" run or proceed?
Gotta look deep into your heart and decide if it's worth it.

As a black man, what are your thoughts?
I just feel like listening to some Thundercat and finishing this paper I got due tomorrow. Also, goddamnit Dallas, if you lose to New Orleans of all teams....

Juice, or purple drank?
Kool-aid.
