I see a lot of funny "black twitter" image galleries on imgur and reddit. But a lot of them seem to just be a bunch of anecdotes showing potentially negative black stereotypes played for laughs, which is then laughed at by (presumably) mostly white people.

So is the question is, isn't the mildly humorous anecdotal affirmation of black stereotypes by black people taken out of context, collected, and then posted on the internet like some kind of lowkey internet minstrel show kind of racist? Is it racist to think this stuff is funny?

This is actually a problem that Dave Chappelle went through when making his show. Chappelle's Show was all about satirizing black stereotypes, but some white audiences thought he was reveling in it. It's not entirely racist to laugh, but just ask yourself why you're laughing.

That's some solid wisdom right there.

Could Kendrick Lamar microwave a burrito so hot even he couldn't eat it?
Yes.

Who is viewed in the black community as the political leader for African-American issues?
I honestly can't answer this one, at least not as well as some of the other members here could. There's writers and activists like Shaun King & Deray McKesson that do a lot of work for social justice, but social media has connected most of us to the point where we just rely on each other when it comes to african-american issues instead of needing guidance from a "leader".

Is it acceptable for a group of Black people to recall funny moments from TV sitcom friends as a means of socializing? What about seinfeld?
