TGS 2005: Brothers in Arms to PlayStation 3
Ubisoft's WWII franchise gets another new sequel.

September 16, 2005 - As part of its effort to prove that the PS3 will have a number of high profile sequels among its lineup, Sony Computer Entertainment confirmed at TGS today that Ubisoft is already producing Brothers in Arms 3 for the next-generation system. Other than the title, however, nothing else about the game was revealed -- but at least we know that this winter's "Earned in Blood" won't be the last in what has so far been a pretty interesting franchise.

Sequels to good games are fine by me The only PS3 one announced so far that makes me think "meh" is Stuntman 2.

This has incredible potential, IMO. The first one was already immersive. Imagine Killzone PS3 style graphics in a WWII setting with the great BiA gameplay.

Sony is collecting the best mix of new games and sequels to franchises right now. This is a good thing. You can't rely on sequels to push your system for the next generation, but you can't foget about them too. I think you are stretching with Warhawk as well. The last one we saw was on PSone.

Oh, and you forgot Heveanly Sword Darien!

Heavenly Sword is going to be fantastic. I just have a gut feeling about the game it will ring out awesomeness to the MAX.
