If you have a good local burger place or one of the better small chains like Whataburger, Five Guys, etc. this is true. But amongst the big dog burger chains (McDs, BK, Wendy's, etc.) BK certainly has the tastiest burgers. That's not to say a Big Mac doesn't hit the spot once and again, but yeah Angry Whopper is king. No idea what you're even talking about regarding the fries, BK switched to thick cut fries and they are pretty awesome for a large chain (I like the new Wendy's ones better though).

Reminds me how much I miss The Steak Escape fries though, those were god tier.

Yep. For some reason my local BK has it priced the same as a regular Whopper, so I've been getting it instead for the free cheese and bacon upgrade.
