The burger chain announced its "Angriest Whopper" on Tuesday, a follow up to the restaurant's previous "Angry Whopper," a burger so fiery it apparently needed a successor.

The newest edition has a red bun with hot sauce baked right in, flaming onion petals, spicy angry sauce and jalapeños, making this the spiciest option Burger King has created.

If it's like most chains "spicy" than I expect slightly spicy at most. Also the nutrition is ridiculous:

Can't be anything too spicy or the general public would complain to corporate (and to the franchise managers.)

Edit: May you be speaking about pickled jalapenos? Fresh jalapenos would get people complaining to the manager..

This would be me, no joking, for real. Burger King already gives me IBS in the worst way possible so this would probably melt my insides. I'm so tempted though because I love spicy food and i'm always let down by tall tales of "This is so hot and ghost peppers, blah blah" and always come away disappointed. The hot sauce bun has me intrigued.

I'm in the same boat. Maybe their cooking has changed or maybe my stomach has changed but I am always a little ill after eating at BK. I can eat at McDonalds and at Taco Bell and be just fine but Burger King just makes my guts bubble.

Hmm, you may have a point with that. That does kind of axe a lot of my choices.
Honestly though, I much prefer banana peppers, I think they taste way better and are of a similar spicy-level. I'm no pepper expert so I don't know what other mild options there would be, but surely some variety is warranted.

I just don't think japalenos taste very good.

Canned and fresh jalapenos are two totally different beasts.

Canned are more spicy and unnatural tasting.

Fresh taste normal, taste great, and can go with lots of things.

Depending on the place, and if they're going for "spicy", it's 50/50 which you're gonna get.

I enjoyed the Angry Whoppers quite a bit and haven't eaten BK for a while, so as soon as they get these in at the closest one, I'll go order one.
