Burnout 4 - Whose picking it up Day One next week

There is a small cutscene (about 5 seconds) whenever a rival takes you down in a race. These cutscenes are there to show you which car is your revenge rival.

You can turn that off in the options if you dont like it, so im sure Revenge will be the same.

Unless you're not going to get 360, why wouldn't you wait until we at least see how much better it will be on 360? That's what I'm doing.

And I want it pretty bad.

I'll be getting Legends though. My first PSP game since launch and my only one until at least GTA, if I get that.

Peer pressure. My friends are all getting it and will be playing on Live. When the 360 version was a launch title, many of us were going to wait.

So is there any PSP link with the PS2 version? I think I will get it a few days afterwards, since I'm waiting for the Sims 2 expansion pack.

Shit, I'm all over the Xbox version. I might not be able to get online right away with it, but I should be able to get on soon enough. I can't wait, I kicked so much ass online in BO3. :D

I was wondering this too, but a bit of research turned up nothing.

If a 360 version is truly scheduled, I can hold off.

EB has it as a 1/1/06 release. Obviously placeholder, but I'm bummed at the '06 date.

Any real word on a 360 release?

I doubt it, you know EA would have gotten the word out about it already. But it atleast has Madden!

There is indeed a Xbox 360 version planned, due for release in 2006 (no specific date yet, but I can assure you it's coming)

I'll also wait for reviews. The A.I. sucked. I mean I expect rubber band A.I in Mario Kart, but Burnout actually punished you for using your boost.

No link for PS2 / PSP versions of BO : L and BO : R. Confirmed in a video interview on I believe Gamespot.

Anyway, I don't think I have been this excited for a game in a long time, let alone 2 of them. Can't wait to try all the new tracks.

When I first saw the Revenge trailer, they had me by "Crashbreaker during races," then they showed that wicked sequence with the new Crash mode with the car fighting air resistance and aiming for the Target car...

Even if there is a 360 version coming, I don't think I can wait that long, especially since I might not even be able to afford a 360 with all the games coming out soon. If there's a marked improvement, I'll buy it again and maybe pass off my original to a friend or something, but for now, I need my Burnout fix.

Arguments about online play aside, the final word is that the PS2 has the better-tuned game, right? I've seen the arguments about sparks and framerate and all that, and I don't care which controller I use as long as it's the better-looking version.

After playing the demo I'm really sceptical about this game. The cars control even less like cars this time around and the game still uses the dumbed down design that BO 3 had. As well, the charm of packed streets and urban highways seems to be missing thus far.

I loved Burnout 2 but these last two just seem like tech demos.

I love the pinball game feel of bumping traffic around now. And like others said, they had me at crashbreaker during races.

This game is so mine next week. My xbox will weep at the punishment it will get when I get this game.

I reserved it at Gamestop a few days ago.

This game will be amazing. I'm so excited. I must've played the demo a million times, and even THAT was better than most racing games. :D

Oh noes :(

My biggest complaint about 3 was the dumbed down track design and lack of traffic. Still it's looking more like my next gen "Rush" game then LA Rush so I'm still looking forward to it.
