It's very tempting to pick this up, despite the fact I already own the disc version and have it on the PC. It would be nice to just pick up and play.

If I were to buy this, would it work with the save I have for the disc version?

Been playing the free version from the UK PS+ store and really having a blast with this game. The variety of play modes and fun stuff you can do kept me coming back for plenty more. Pissed cuz you lost a race? Go take out your aggression with a game of roadkill! Or just go into showtime mode and smash the crap outta things. The only thing I can't stand about this game is that one trophy requiring a USB camera…so close to getting a Plat on this one.

Can anyone confirm if the US ver would be compatible with my UK save? Online play is fun, although co-op can be a real bitch when that one person in the room doesn't want to co-operate and head to the target zones

(1) This game is absolutely fantastic, and
(2) it's the worst Burnout in the entire series, and I hope they go back to BO3 for inspiration on the next game.

I think it's the best, the open world alone made it better and more fun and way superior than every other Burnout games.

This is also the only game I love to play with randoms. Just get online and do some challenges with a pick up group. I always lucked out and got a group of drunken Brits. Good times.

Did I say Criterion cares? Yup, they care. They made a patch that allows to restart an event at any time. See, they got their bases covered! Best game this gen.



Not sure, but you don't need 100% billboards/gates. Easily obtainable without any guide.

If you had the X360 version, it was much harder cause you couldn't use that site and you had to get 100%.

Yeah I can confirm you don't need to get ALL the billboards to get the trophy…cuz I haven't found them all yet. I think to get the trophy you just need to smash through like 10 or 50 of them…can't remember the numbers for the billboards and for the yellow gates.

I can confirm that the US version will not read the UK save, as I just went through that.

When I first started playing it I just left the classical tracks playing.

And we never did get planes. That would have been madness ;P

And for those who haven't tried it, bikes are incredible. They don't have boost but they're incredibly fast and maneuverable from the get go. The game also reduces the density of cars on the road allowing some of the best free roaming out there.

I was never an FPS whore in anything, but between playing Burnout Revenge, Burnout Paradise and Wipeout HD, when it comes to racing games I have become one of those insufferable "60 FPS or bust" bores. I realized this when I picked up Hot Pursuit.

For example, while I buy disc-based games mostly from Australia/Euro region, most of myndownloadable games are purchased from US and JPN PSN. I also occasionally buy US discs (Dead Space 2, Marvel vs Capcom 3, etc).
