BURNOUT REVENGE XB360!

Is this one going to be good like Burnout 2 or more kind of "meh" like Burnout 3?

Damn, if you consider Burnout 3, arguably one of the greatest racing games ever created, to be "meh", i'd hate to see how you feel about games like Auto Modelista.

It only seems "meh" because the game it was based on was more enjoyable.

I enjoyed Burnout 2 more than BO3. First the AI in BO3 is crap. Second, I hated the music and finally the course design was sucky. Also, it was confusing to navigate around the menu. I played BO3 for 8 hours with 29% complete and left it there.

Sucky game and a waste of 60 Canadian clams.

...Blame it on EA.

X360 launch > Me

How? I mean Xbox 360's launch lineup looks like midly upgraded games I can get on PS2, GC or Xbox. MS is hardly doing anything to make me plunk down $300-$400 for there new console.

I had about the same experience, but my chief problem was the AI. Other things didn't bother me as much.

And I'm so tired of racing games where I have to start a long, multi-lap track over after one mistake. I'm thinking any arcadey racer without an "unwreck" feature is going to feel tedious after Full Auto.

With Xbox ready to fold their tents by the end of this year, I wouldn't be surprised if they streamline a bunch of the last-minute releases as an "upgraded" X360 port. If Burnout 4 is certainly there, I'd like to see Half Life 2 for X360 coming too.

Not going to happen. MS tryed to get HL2 moved to 360 but Valve refused to budge.

Has it been confirmed that $59 will be the new standard MSRP of 360 games?

Its an EA published game so it will be $59

You can probably do a google search to find the interviews, but both EA and Activision have gone on record saying to expect a price hike for their games next generation. I haven't seen any other publisher make any statements about a price hike yet, but you can bank on it happening from EA and Activision. I've even seen the interviews posted on this board several months ago so maybe somebody that's bored can do a search and link you to it.

I only see 59.99 working for games like Grand Theft Auto, Halo, Final Fantasy, etc
But thats another topic all together :D

Shit. That was the deal maker for me. Unless it turns out to be not much of a difference, I will
own a 360. :)
ditto. Anybody find out anything new about this yet (aside from a few sites reporting the EB link)?
