IMO if a gaffer is purposely ripping off another gaffer like I'm seeing a lot of right now with the humble bundle steam keys. They should be called out.

On the one hand it sucks to pay more for something that you can get elsewhere for cheaper. On the other hand, there's a rule specifically against what you're doing:

Everyone involved is just either looking to buy, sell, or trade something. If someone wants a certain amount of money for something, whether it is worth that amount of money will be determined by the people willing to pay for it. There's no need to guilt people for selling things they got for free, or making a big fuss out of perceived overcharging. It's a free market.

I also have a Red Faction Armageddon key that I'm trying to sell that I did NOT get from the Humble Bundle and I don't really feel like I should have to explain myself or my prices to someone else just because there's a sale somewhere on the internet. Maybe some people put that they bought the keys off the Humble Bundle, but you have no way of knowing where the others got them from or if they knew about the sales (I did not). So accusing sellers of purposefully "ripping people off" is unnecessary. While it is the seller's responsibility to make prices reasonable, it is solely to drive sales. It's more-so the buyer's responsibility to make sure that they're getting a good deal. Sellers want to maximize the money they receive. Buyers want to minimize the money that they pay. Blaming the seller solely does not tell the whole story.

I agree that it's in the best interest of buyers if they are well educated on deals, but I don't agree that everyone who has a price higher than what you would see somewhere on the internet is intentionally trying to rip off other gaffers. The internet is pretty huge. I had one gaffer tell me straight up "yo, I found this on Ebay for lower than what you have- can you beat it?" I had NO clue that my prices were higher than Ebay. I personally agreed to sell at the lower price, but if I didn't, do I deserve to be called out because one seller on Ebay sells at a lower price than I do while the last 20 "Sold" listings are higher than my prices? I just disagree with the assumption that every seller with a higher price is trying to rip buyers off. That implies something negative that isn't necessarily there.

And honestly you can go through just about every seller's listings on here and find a cheaper price somewhere. For those who sell a ton of Steam Keys, they're probably not losing money on them. For those who sell physical items, they have to pay to ship it too so if you can find it on Craigslist, you probably just got it for the same price minus shipping. Want to call them out too?

EDIT: I'm not trying to start some huge argument about this, but the free market sorts itself out. The average Gaffer isn't stupid. Most of them check Ebay/Amazon/Steam prices before they agree to buy something on there. If prices are too high, buyers won't buy and sellers won't sell. It's that simple.

So, I'm trying to set up my dreamcast, and I can't find the A/V cable. It would probably cost me about 5 bucks to get a 3rd party cable, more for an official one, so I figured I'd just check here and see if anybody has a dreamcast with cables they want to part with for cheap, and I can just keep the system as a backup.
