I PM'd a mod about him earlier as I was suspicious of him. I wasn't sure he was a scammer so I didn't want to out him preemptively, but I will go ahead and copy and paste what I PM'd a mod since it's pretty much confirmed that he's not legit.

PM'd to a mod concerning dupe accounts of a potential scammer:

We had a scammer in the Buy/Sell/Trade thread a few months ago named Eddie Griffin. He would sell gift cards and consoles at a cheaper rate than should be possible and said it was through a friend or retail business he used to be involved with.

Is there any way to see if they're the same person and to get him banned before he scams more people? I've checked all of their post histories and they all seem to post a lot of pro-XBone sales stuff (Especially in the Media Creates/NPD threads). Eddie and Steve both also "have a friend in retail" or some other such backstory.

It's rough, but it's not exclusive to juniors. Been here forever, and I did quite a few transactions before this whole status chart thing was in effect with people having gold status etc, but none of the stuff I did counted towards it. Not exactly fair either, but what can you do?
