Bioware wasnt really handed it, they are just plastering the bioware name on more and more internal studios to make their multi billion dollar purchase worth while.
$60 PC game confirmed.
Let's make it $70... it is CnC and BioWare after all.

My PC has another two years of life in it at max settings according to BioWare.
Oh no, I love FB 2.0. I just don't understand why BioWare was handed control of this. Did EA really have no one else?
I think it's pretty pathetic that EA is trying to emulate Acitivison *SO* much with moves like this.
It's so obvious that they want DICE to be Infinity Ward, and now BioWare has to become Blizzard (RPGs and RTS now)
What's next, Dragon Age III will end up being a Diablo clone instead of that multiplayer Dragon vs. Footman mess?
The earliest system spec release ever ?
Its not Starcraft but looks cool. I haven't played a C&C game since Red Alert so I'm up for more RTS goodness.
I really hope its nothing like sc2. SC2 only does one thing well, 1v1. Everything else is bad. CnC3 was great for team games and AI stomps. Hopefully this builds on that becuase its a lot more fun and enjoyable than 1v1 sc2.this is from somone who was high diamond
It's Frostbite 2 so I'm sure they know what it is capable of via Battlefield 3.
But this is RTS... I expect to have more than 10 tanks + 4 planes at once on screen at the time...
You do know that Starcraft 2 was desinged competitive 1v1 games in mind? As primary goal. Generals nor other CnC's weren't meant to be eSports, except for RA3 and that turned out well.
I have a feeling EA is going to try compete with Starcraft... i'm preparing for the worst and assume this is going to be based around 1v1 gameplay.
Gonna be "Tactical RTS". Because consoles cannot deal with unit masses.
You know i'm right.
I wish i'm not
C&C was nothing about tacticbut all about getting more fucking tanks than you opponent. Please don't be right.(nor strategy)
I left that spoiler there for a reason....

Yeah, it's one of the reason why I called it unbalanced. It is a massive macro-style game and it's a race to Nuke, essentially. Hopefully that's not the case this time.

Inter view wtih JVC and Ray Muzyka. it's PC exclusive. a lot more.
In the near future, world leaders are mere seconds from signing a global treaty and bringing an end to war as we know it when a devastating terrorist attack rips through the peace conference, killing all in attendance. In a world left with no politicians, diplomats, or activists, only the Generals remain. Its up to you to assume their roles, command their forces, and put an end to global terrorism once and for all.

And who are you?Yeah, c&c is dead to me.
I'm getting used to not buying Origin games. EA can't go out of business fast enough. You guys better get used to it,
"We have three factions in the game, the GLA, the EU and one more we aren't revealing yet!"
Clearly it's China. Why the twist? That's like saying Starcraft 2 has 3 factions: Terran, Zerg and the third one we aren't revealing... yet!
USA?

Make the game have an install like this and i'll buy it, Origin or not
I don't know how you do Generals without "China will grow larger" but maybe Russia would be ok?"We have three factions in the game, the GLA, the EU and one more we aren't revealing yet!"

Naa... EU/USA would be too similar.
Generals 2 is secret C&C rebootNOD
Biggest twist ever

Nope. Generals was about getting more aurora bombers than your enemy.
If it was just China I doubt they would have held it back, so I think it will be Russia or, dare I suggest it, India?
