Online kind of sucked though (NOT because of the netcode btw). The community was nowhere near as friendly and sportive as I've seen in Starcraft 2. Oh, and eventually I forgot my password so I couldn't play anymore. My hatred for EA accounts started early.
But I fully expect this game to have very little to do with C&C gameplay, to be honest. Unless EA has learned from C&C4 that is. I hope they have, but I'm not putting my faith in it.
The Generals IP is an odd one to resurrect, but a new C&C is always welcome. The last few have been terrible, and since Bioware is making this it will probably also be terrible, but one of these days they'll get it right and put C&C back where it belongs on top of the RTS pile.

Am I the only one getting super annoyed by this? My twitter stream last night was full of people (even devs!) talking about Bioware making the new C&C game.
It's unfortunate, because up until now I would have assumed a level of quality in anything that carried the Bioware name, and now I can't. It's not that I think Victory can't pull it off, or that it's going to suck. They are an unknown here, and more importantly, they aren't Bioware.

Any idea if this will have the always-online requirement that other recent PC Exclusive EA games have had? It sounds like it could be fun and looks good, but that's a deal break for me.

Only two games have them, Battlefield 3 and still not released Simcity and they've released like what? 10+ games last and this year? I wouldnt worry about that much.
