Sadly its how multiplayer game work , turn off all settings = better visibility , faster to spot enemy , more fps .

Enjoying the campaign a fair bit, MP seems better than the beta left me feeling too.
But this "Emergence is the best mission ever!!!" lark? Yeah nah, it was a neat departure from the norm but nothing special.

Playing the campaign on cloud might be alright but the latency would be horrid for MP

MW3's campaign was the biggest disappointment since Black Ops 3's.

the black ops campaigns have always trumped the MW campaigns (come at me, I'll take ya).

I'll get around to this eventually. Glad to see its not a dumpster fire.

I thought Advanced Warfare had a better campaign than Blops 3 and MW3 (2023): I agree that they did a very good job with Blops 1 and 2.

The whole safehouse reminds me of all the games that use one, like Cold War, Wolfenstein II and Deathloop.

I was seriously unsure if it had come out yet. Then I had to put in a payment method for no reason and it stopped accepting our bank so I spent another hour having to make a virtual credit card just to authenticate a purchase I had already made 10 seconds prior.

And this is supposed to be the make or break game for game pass?

Ok rant over. I just hope zombies is good. BO1 zombies is what got my dad back into gaming after a 15 year break. Unfortunately it's all been going downhill since BO3.

I've never known anyone find it difficult to access gamepass on the xbox before. Are you not familiar with the UI? Theres a whole section on the store.

Zombies is good fun - I've played 2-3 hours solo in Liberty Falls map.

Would recommend going into the Hud settings to turn off the zombie health bars and the damage numbers though, as they're a bit of a blight on the screen. Also increase FOV.

Weird, black ops install/get now game pass ads are literally on my home screen; also you can just navigate to the game pass section in several places in the home screen, like at the top.

Didn't enjoy my time during the beta, felt the guns in general have more visual recoil compared to MW3. Has anything changed in that regard?

While I say I probably wont get BO6, I'm definitely feeling the FOMO. Maybe during the christmas sale...Say what you will about MW3, but the post launch support for 6v6 MP was phenomenal. Tons of maps, events in season, weapon modifications, its pretty extensive. If BO6 has that kind of post launch support, I'm probably in.

Black ops 6 is addicting. If you liked the beta it's more of the same but just much more . Omni movement is the same as the beta and if you didn't like it there you probably won't like it here. I'm only one mission into campaign but so far so good. You get a safehouse in the second mission with puzzles and secrets at your safehouse. Two zombies maps is fun but they have health bars which you can turn off and you can save if your playing solo to come back later on. Multiplayer is probably where most will spend there time. Like I said if you didn't like the beta it might not change for you . I enjoyed multiplayer so it's good to me .

I'm Xbox Series X and it ran fine

Campaign worked just with the bare install and didn't need to download 200GB like Black ops: Cold War.

They finally managed to figure out this whole 'not use the entire HDD' thing.

Only played a few mp matches, game looks a lot sharper and ran solid @ 120fps with max settings on PC, we'll see how the weekend goes.

played a round of zombies, two people died/quit before round 10, last one quit at 15, exfilled solo at 20, they bought nothing while I spent all my resources on opening doors lol; great stuff so far, the extra movement from the omnimovement system really shines here

Very weird. We had 3 people looking at the TV trying to find any mention of game pass or BO6. Maybe it's a regional thing idk (Netherlands).

Just played Zombies local split-screen - really pleased this mode is available on PS5 and XSX (not on PC, or past gen).

The graphics take a hit on PS5, but hopefully the Pro will do some magic with this split screen mode as it's one of my fave to play with friends over!
