They are! You think you'll just unlock them by getting the gear for every specialist? That's not how it works. Unlocking the gear for every single specialist only unlocks the requirements to obtain the hero gear (which are super hard). For example, to get Nomad's hero headpiece, you need to get six kills with the HIVE in a single game six times.

Also I love the gravity spikes. Got a fury kill with them. They are so much fun to use.

Both of my favorite, but I think Scythe for the extra range.

But if you're looking at using a token, go with Purifier. It doesn't unlock till 55.

Yup. They can shoot you down pretty quick if you're not paying attention, but when it lands its extremely satisfying

I get killed less often using the Scythe. Purifier doesn't do it's job fast enough to beat out weapons with high TTK in close-quarters environments. You really gotta get the drop on folks.

Yesterday I dodged this Outrider's sparrow and killed her and then outmaneuvered a Scythe to get the kill. He let go of the trigger when I got behind cover so I was able to dash back out and kill him before he got it spinning again.

Here's an unrelated video of the dominance of the Razorback. All of the guns are pretty viable, I just found the burst guns a little bullshitty when I used them. Still the gun doesn't really matter since a good player can dominate with just a pistol. The game in the video was pretty good but recently I've been going off like that every game. Kinda weird. Can't wait for all the Christmas kids

i kind of want the hero gear if for nothing else to match the gold gun camo, since im pretty sure all the hero outfits are laced with pops of gold, etc :eek:

I'm working on the Seraph camos right now. It's so easy to get killstreaks with that boost move. I just put on the remote car, uav, and care package. If I time it right I can get all three while the boost is active. Super simple.

Why don't you use higher streaks (if you don't mind me asking)? I usually run Wraith, RAPS, and the Mothership. I don't use Seraph, but I'm sure Combat Focus would help greatly with that.

The hero gear for Spectre looks so good but I'm not sure if I'll go through all the effort to get it..

My man, not everyone can consistently run and get those streaks

I recommend to use streaks you can actually get, and go up little by little. Perhaps later a sentry gun, a ceberus etc. But definitely put streaks you can get, if one day you can make it to mother ship then awesome so be it!

I do agree that combat focus should definitely help greatly with that

Speaking of Seraph, what is the consensus on the Annihilator when compared to other weapons? It seems rather slow, and you really cannot miss your shots. It's great for destroying streaks, though.

Also, what would be the best mode to try to get a Nuclear in? Safeguard? Domination? Demolition? Hard point?

Oh, this was just for getting the camos faster. You had to get like 20 streaks while the Combat Focus was active so I grabbed the three earliest ones and got it really easily. I usually run higher ones but I also mainly play TDM so it's difficult to get those higher ones consistently. I usually go UAV, Hellstorm, then Cerberus right now. I've been getting 20 plus kills with that setup for a while now.

I think the Annihilator is really bad compared to other Specialist weapons. The bow is way better as a similar one shot style weapon.

Is there a nuke in this game?

They should just get rid of all the other modes except for deathmatch, that's all people want. I just played a match of uplink and literally no one was getting the ball, I was about the only one who scored in the match. People with 40 kills and 5 deaths, just KDR whoring.

There's no hidden nuke streak, but getting 30 gun kills without dying earns you a nuclear medal and a really cool calling card. Getting a nuclear medal in FFA earns you an even cooler calling card. Any kills after 30 will earn you unstoppable medals.

I would think CTF would be a good one. Running UAV, CUAV, HATR. Every kill you get while holding the flag is 200 points iirc.

Just wanted to say, having not played any COD after MW2, this game is freaking awesome and super addicting, despite having halo and battlefront can't stop playing.

COD games have geared more and more towards the spastic, rushing SMG play style with porous maps, and a movement system with unlimited sprint that facilitates this. It devolves the game more and more into a singular play style in my opinion, and it's one of the things that really turns me off from the game, aside from bullshit in the shooting mechanics (flinch/tons of aim assist, now exacerbated by the high caliber attachment, leading to lots of accidental kills and headshot for people who would have otherwise lost a gunfight, and actually BENEFIT from you shooting them.) and other things that are really turning me off from COD in general. Not to mention inconsistent gameplay as a result of whatever they've been doing since te original Black Ops.

This is probably the first game where all guns seem to be viable to a degree; some need a little balancing.

I lol when people complain that ARs except M8 suck, same with LMGs (which are actually good for once). I just come to the conclusion that people are just bad with said weapons.

I can do perfectly fine with the HVK, Man-o-War, and Dredge.

Ran into a really good sniper in FFA today. I don't know how he managed to quick scope so well but he was doing it, and it drove me crazy. Gun wasn't even scoping in when he was pulling the trigger so it's one of those things where it's probably mostly luck, but he was damn consistent with it.

I've set my goal on getting the animated calling cards for Combat Handling and Lethals while unlocking gear for my specialists in the meantime:)

Ballistics CPU requiring you to actually use a scope on a sniper sucks though :p Sniping is pretty hard. Just playing Nuketown to get some kills. My poor k/d haha.

Grip and elo sight. Though recently I've been ditching the sight for high caliber or fmj.

MR6 pistol
1 semtex
2 conc grenades

Sixth Sense
Fast Hands
Gung-Ho

Pretty basic setup but I've been getting 20+ kills per TDM match with it. The grip ensures stability despite the high fire rate. WIth the grip you basically get the steadiness and range of an AR with the fire rate of an SMG. It's the key to the whole operation.

I love Sixth Sense too. My newest tactic has been sitting in the water on the inner side of the cave bridge on Hunted and waiting for the Sixth Sense ping to jump up and kill them.

I've saved up over 100 cryptokeys....

Something tells me in a future update they are going to rework that system, remove the ability to get duplicate items and add more appealing loot. Obviously this system will eventually be tied to the ability to purchase cryptokey packs with real world currency, and the way it is currently set up leaves a lot to be desired. If they want people to buy packs of cryptokeys, they will almost certainly be reworking it.

I'm mainly holding out for a hopeful update that removed the ability to get duplicates. Such a wierd problem with an easy fix. Its not like we can sell the unwanted loot like AW...

I haven't gone back to get my last two rapid Vision Pulse kills yet. The Seraph ones are pretty easy to get through normal play though I'm not to the final ones yet.
