Call of Duty: Black Ops III |OT| No Content For Old Gen

Damn, and here I thought I was being original. Same colors, even (different hands though, thank god).

I even made two versions: an akimbo version (pictured), and a text swapped "pose" version, so it doesn't say "GUD GIT" when I win.

GRcFDHx.jpg

Make the same (or a similar) pattern on both sides (I like a clashing colors kinda look) and apply text on both sides. Then set it on a gunsmith variant and have your specialist showcase that variant during victories. If you want a version to use, you'll need to go and make that a separate paintjob.

How do you make something like this? Go to the gunsmith and click create paintjob and then just draw on the gun and press apply? Then, in game you have your own decorated weapon? And when i add dual wield attachment, it only lets me draw on one gun.

Don't you guys miss the planning that you and your team had to do on maps like Crossfire?

Don't you miss a semi tactical MP game?

Also why the hell has HQ been missing for 3 games now? I thought it was one of the most popular modes.

I don't know about pre-planning with teammates like Counter-Strike but if you're asking about having to play carefully and thoughtfully moving around the map, yes. It's a good game in its own right, though.

I also miss Headquarters, it was a lot of fun in Treyarch games and Black Ops II showed it could coexist with Hardpoint.

Added you on PSN! :) And yeah, XR-2 is nasty! :D Nice clip, man!

You use Rapid Fire on XR-2? I'm using it now and I gather, it helps a lot when somebody ambushes you, no?

Same. I had a good K/D in Blops 2, and managed to go 50-60 kills in Ground War to the point I'd get messaged by the enemy for "being gay" or whatever offensive thing they can think of. Here? I started out at like .3 and now worked my way up to 1.0. I've been mostly able to do that with the XR-2 and finding the perfect scorestreak, perk and gun setup that suits me best. I just found what those are recently. :)

I get paired up with Prestige people that go 10-25 and shit. :( Super annoying since they're essentially feeding the enemy.

Anyone here turns on the connection thing in the options menu for PS4? I regularly get 140-160 MS (ping) is that normal or OK? Worse is when it fluctuates to 30 and then 100+ which results in me getting a delay. I have no clue how to fix it, but I gather, it's my router or net connection. :(
Yes it does

It also helps when you are shooting against multiple people, as well as if you miss some shots

I created a paintjob for my gun and made it my specialist showcase weapon. They showcase the gun in the final 3 screen, but it just shows the gun and my camo, without any of the artwork i added/created myself. What am I missing here?

EDIT: Nevermind, restarting the game fixed the issue.

I feel like it's a test to see how much human suffering the developers were able to extract from the gaming population.

Some kind of fucked up torture experiment. I'm only playing it out of sheer force of will, at this point. I've played too much of it to just not finish it, but it keeeeeeeeeeeps going and it keeps getting worse

This makes Ghosts' campaign look like a bonafide masterpiece.

Everything the developers did, they did for a reason. The story line is not tangled at all, there is no bad writing when it comes to the lines. Everything was carefully and purposefully created to be the way that it is. It might not make sense now, but once you watch those videos you will see Treyarch's genius.

Now you sound like a prophet for some weird religion. Just replace "developer" and "Treyarch" with the name of the deity and you're all set, lol.

No the writing is still awful. There is a ton of terrible lines in the first two missions alone.

Edit: Please forgive me, that's my brother speaking about campaign, not me. I have not even touched it.

I'm telling him not to do this again.

He created an account but it won't let him post, says it doesn't have sufficient rights or has not been activated.

How can it be activated for him?

Thanks

No it's still awful.

Never mind the lack of backstory and context given to the world building, but the "twist" takes the unreliable narrator motif to the absolute extreme, and requires a huge suspension of disbelief.

On GAF? His account needs to be verified. It can take a few months for this to happen.

I'm at 0.31 KD, down from 0.55 in Black Ops 2! Still enjoy as well. Avoid maps like Breach where people seem to jump around and come out of nowhere.

Never thought I would find someone as bad as me lol, Im maybe .60 or something, Im always negative :(

Anyways something funny happened when I joined Silver Arrows I think he was him, he was playing a game but I didnt even checked what playlist, so I was mindingmy own bussiness killing whatever came my way, sooner rather than later I was kicked out and I said WTF what happened Im seriously that bad and was kicked out cause of it? no it turned out they were playing hardcore and I probbaly team killed a bunch of my team LMAO.

I'm a believer in the campaign.

Went from garbage to brilliant. All it took was some thinking because there are a LOT of details you kinda lose track of or dont notice while you're playing.

This helped with some stuff I didn't understand

This is is definitely not your standard COD campaign. It's deep and thoughtful and incredibly complex. Treyarch is definitely my favorite CoD developer and the only ones that know how to bone your mind like this.

Holy Fucking Shit. Like seriously. Holy Shit.

When Treyarch said that in the end it should blow our minds... They were right. Damn.

Is there any way to make the mouse aiming in this game not complete shit? I don't understand how awful it feels to aim in this when in any other shooter its ok.

I did it! I beat the campaign on Veteran. That was the worst shit ever.

Realistic must be for masochists.

lol, if I knew how much easier it would've been to run thermal with FMJ and silencer on a sniper rifle, I'd have done it from the start.

Except for that underwater shit, that was fucking awful.

I only beat it on Regular just so I can unlock Nightmares. I can't imagine how infuriating Veteran was.
The part at the very end with all the enemies that spawn out of thin air in every direction around you was what pissed me off the most.

Every time I thought the game was about to end it just dumped me in another one of those sections and I wanted to throw the controller through the TV.

I hated that last section as well. Easy way to cut through is to use active camo and pick them off silently.

I've been going through the campaign in realistic playing co-op and it takes about a hour per mission. Not really bad at all compared to older campaigns on the highest difficulty playing solo. But playing co-op makes it almost impossible to catch the spec ops: the line status twist.

When I initially finished on a co-op game on a lower difficulty at the final line my buddy who had skipped half the story said
"No, you're not Taylor." in response to the monologue. I instantly figured out that was who our character actually "was" in memory.

I feel that the level design took a hit for the sake of co-op as well, but it's a compromise that is worth it for those that just want to play with friends all the time and don't care about the story anyways.

Managed to pack-a-punch a gun before round 5 with a group of friends. Exillerating stuff, but man am I glad they toned down the difficulty of some of these "easter eggs" from the previous zombies mode. Probably the most fun I've ever had with the mode!! Mutilplayer is fantastic now that they have removed the lunging/commando bullshit these games always seem to have and the abilities really mix things up. Can definitely see people's problems with the campaign (lack of set pieces and environments being built for four players), which is a shame, because the rest of the package is so well crafted

This is all pretty surprising and deep for a COD game...
