Well, you still can. But the level design isn't as open or vertical as AW. And the TTK is shorter so you can't escape if you're ambushed. I have to play BO3 more methodically than AW.

The boost is still more gradual than it was in AW, plus there isn't the stupid boost slam, and melee's don't kill in one hit, meaning if somebody jumps over your head, you still have a chance to kill them, even if they land right beside you.

What are the best AR rifles? Also should I be shooting down the scope or hip fire more?

If somebody surprises you up close, always start hipfiring first, then ADS when you've got them lined up.

KN-44 and ICR are easy to use, ICR is a little weak. KN-44 is probably the best all around AR.
XR-2 is really good at medium to long range but it's a burst fire weapon, and if you miss a burst it really hurts your chances.
The M8A7 is really good at nearly any range, but it's a burst fire as well. The delay between bursts isn't as long as the XR-2 so it doesn't hurt nearly as much to miss a burst.
The Sheiva is really strong, but it's a semi-automatic. If you put High Calibre attachment on it, it becomes a one shot headshot kill.

I love the man-o-war, iron sights with a grip and quickdraw ADS. Mows dudes down.
I find the man o war to be too slow, as in everything

Slow rate of fire, slow movement speed, slow ads time

It almost feels like a light machine gun

I prefer the xr2 with rapid fire, laser sight, stock and quick draw

I prefer the Man O War, M8, HvK, and KN. Although they all seem to again be viable to use, depending on your playstyle and the map.

The M8 will probably get nerfed, so I'm not using it as much because I don't want to get attched to a gun that I know is going to get worse, but I already got it gold before they nerf it.

Man O War iron sights are garbage imo, so I roll with Elo, Grip, Long Barrel, and High Caliber; as I found with ARs that Quickdraw isn't really an neccesitty like LB or Grip.

The HVK has good Iron Sights, so I just use LB and Grip.

M8 I put Elo, Long Barrel, Grip, and High Caliber.

KN also has good Iron Sights, so again its the LB and Grip for me.

Long Barrel is the best AR attachment in the game; use it.

XR2 is pretty good, especially with High Caliber, but it has a pretty slow fire rate, and most maps don't have a lot of medium-long sight lines.

Shieva I don't mind; I put a sight (Varix 3 usually), High Caliber, and Long Barrel, and its 1 shot headshot machine. But I'm not the best with single/burst ARs, so I don't use it much,

ICR I haven't invested a lot of time in, because it just feels like I'm gimping myself when the HVK and MoW are both better. Quite a few people like it though, comparable to ACR, but I've never liked the ACR in prior games.

Ok after many hours of play I finally tried the KRM-262 and I am in love.

This is the hipfire beast I thought the Argus was. Play aggressive with it and understand the maps to keep way from long galleries and you will blast people in 1-2 shot mid range and a single up close.

Can't wait for Rapid Fire on it!

I can't decide where to put a permanent unlock point. Scavenger would be a good one because it's level 44, but I'm not sure if it's THAT useful.

I do find myself running out of ammo sometimes, but I could just pick up someone's gun if I'm on my last mag... but then I can't hunt for headshot medals.

Dead Silence is a must unless you want to get sound whored constantly.

I used a token for Scavenger. Lethal and smoke grenades all day, lol.

I play domination so I'll throw 2 or more smokes on a flag..or one on the flag and one at the direction they're coming from just in hopes of confusing them, giving me enough time to cap. If someone died on the flag, then I can throw those 2 smokes plus however many I pick up from the ground.

Love love love scavenger. It's a permanent perk 2 for me.

Do you want Ghost just to make things a little easier in terms of going around the map? Do you want a higher level specialist? A higher level weapon you fell in love with?

Nah, it's a waste imo. Change the sound settings to megacrunch or whatever it's called and it will mostly nullify the effect of Dead Silence. And besides, this game is all about fast-pace anyway. I kill people before they can react to my sound, and Sixth Sense tells me when someone is nearby anyway.

Alright, I went with Scavenger. There aren't that many useful Perk 2's around imo. Hard Wired is useful if the other team is running counter-UAV's but then there might be others on your team in trouble without it so it's better to just run a launcher.

I should try Dead Silence + Blast Suppressor some day in a FFA or TDM game, but playing Domination it's not that useful to stealth around, even less on Nuketown.

Yeah I do not find the need of awareness and/or dead silence

If you love domination, play on ps4, and would like to party up

I will be online tonight at 8 pm est

I highly recommend that DS and Suppressor combo. Before I went prestige, I used that with just a combat knife. You're pretty much a ninja at that time.

I really can't disagree more, Supercrunch + Awareness = I'm hearing you from a mile away and winning the gunfight 99% of the time if you're not using Dead Silence.

Still getting people AFK in nearly every Gun Game on PS4. It's really irritating, it ruins the mode when someone can get free kills with the difficult weapons.

37.1*.21.4 - Patches exploits that ruin other people's fun. Don't be that guy. Nobody likes that guy

Saw this tweet, and it was posted on red.dit with people saying it was patched; guess not.

I also never use Dead Silence/Awareness, but primarily play GW so there's no point. The game is very fast paced, so I don't think I would use those perks anyhow, except playing game modes like Search or FFA. Tactical Mask/Gung Ho are a lot better for me.

To me, that just sounds like a complete waste of perks. Like I said, by changing the sound settings I can hear you anyway, and I also mostly fight in close quarters. I can understand that maybe silence is better if you're out in the open. I don't need to hear you when I'm in close quarters, I already know where you'll show up because people are way more predictable than they think. It's in the nature of this kind of game. At the end of the day, CoD is all about reaction speed, looking the right way and predicting opponent movement; and hearing them is one way of getting better at that, but I personally prefer visual cues, predicting movement and overwhelming the enemy.

And lol 99%. I get it, you consider yourself good at the game but 99-1 vs everyone that doesn't have dead silence is pretty damn extreme.

I gave my advice when asked, feel free to ignore it if you think you know better. There's no set way you have to play this game. Play however most makes you comfortable.

Let's test this in a custom game

1 on 1

Or free for all with gaf players

You have your set up, none of us will have awareness or dead silence

Could be fun

We can see how you fair, since you're supposed to have a major advantage

I can tell by the tone of your post that you feel I've challenged your manhood? All I did was give my opinion on what I think is best, nothing more. And I don't play on console, so we'll have to skip the dick measuring contest :)

Hey everyone.

When I first used ghost and aimed down sights it stopped working (even when moving) ... Then I realised this was only with assault rifles. This made ghost useless as you only have to have ghost disabled for a split second to be spied on uav.

My question is does anyone know if ALL smg's keep you on ghost even when you aim down sights? I might go back to using ghost if this is the case.

Ahhh that's a shame

It's not that at all, I'm honestly curious

As I tend to watch my kill cams when I'm unsure of how a death happened, and when I die it's usually never due to someone having that combo

I apologize if I came out wrong, really didn't mean any harm

Yes

But you have to have stock on smgs

And you need to walk while ADS

You won't appear on radar this way, you'll notice your arrow will stay faded

No worries. All I can say is most of my kills come from hearing the person coming a mile away and having time to prepare for them by pre-aiming or pre-firing. Footsteps are just so loud in this game if you're not using Dead Silence, especially with SC + Awareness. I feel it's a massive disadvantage to constantly thud thud thud when moving around. My playstyle is very much rush rush rush so I wouldn't do anywhere near as well if everyone could hear me coming. I guess it also depends on the mode you play, for me it's HC KC most of the time.

Jesus, what's up with this aggressive answer? Sorry for disagreeing with you, I didn't know you would get so offended. And wtf is up with the lecture in your last sentence? I clearly said imo and personally, and just explained my point of view. Way to go being a complete jerk.

And sorry for doubting that you have a 99-1 kdr, my bad.

I don't see how I was being aggressive or a jerk? I thought I was being about as nice as possible in fact. And I think you took the 99% comment a little too literal, I only meant it's a huge advantage.

So I need to stick on stock. Thanks for the tip! Now I just need to pick an SMG that I like the look of and stick a stock on.

Ghost, Cold Blooded too.

Need to think up a proper stalker class!

Really want those two perks that boost the footsteps of enemies, and also show the direction of an enemy. But may run out of pick 10 slots! May sacrifice the directional perk if that's the case.

SMG, stock, silencer, red dot. Ghost. Cold Blooded. Blind Eye. Hard wired. Hmm too many decisions and sacrifices!!!!

I remember when I first tried awareness I felt it really did nothing for me... I forgot all about changing my audio settinds to supercrunch tho. I'll try that combo out tonight some

Could you possibly be more pretentious? I'll remember not to ever enter my input when your brilliance is around again. Geez.

I really feel like something has been lost in translation if you feel I'm being pretentious.

Super crunch ? What's this?

I have the Sony PS4 surround headphones and not sure what setting I have on in blops

I forget, does Ghost also prevent you from appearing when you fire your gun or only during UAV's?
Only uav. You need a silencer on to be completely stealthy!

I second this! Would be awesome to watch. As someone who sucks ass at this game, it is great watching masters at this game.

Ah right. Yeah, personally I just use blackcell instead of ghost. It benefits the whole team too.

And supercrunch is a sound option. You can change it in the settings to hear opponents easier :)

Anyone here that would like to party up, have a gaf lobby and play some domination?

Tip, ddo not put gaf on your clan. I had the experience of a full gaf lobby, we all had a gaf clan and people would just leave lol

GGs Jorge. I actually gotta run for a bit tho.

Sorry about my mic too. No idea if you guys were chatting or not. I didnt even realize I had communication on party only and somehow the game wasn't recognizing you guys in my party...? Weird.

Next time I'll probably just set up a party chat through PSN.

Easy wins tho

Gaf stack is definitely the way to go to improve winrate lol
