Play hardcore. If you get a double kill and both enemies were killed with one bullet, the game counts it as collateral. I finished the collateral challenge within the first couple of minutes of the first hardcore match I ever played. I'm not sure if it's a glitch or if it has been patched, but try it. It's a bit of a loophole, since technically by doing what I do you are killing multiple people with one bullet. So again, just get a double kill in hardcore and make sure they both die in one shot (one bullet doesn't have to go through both enemies, just kill someone with one bullet, find someone else quickly, and kill that person with one more bullet, and you should be golden).

Got a 30-3 in ffa, felt awesome. I am really hooked on free for all lately.
I use the vmp with like 4 attachments and the elo optic. Only two perks and no nades. Silent boost and fast hands.
I run uav, cuav, and care package. Care packages sometimes make you lucky but they are also good for baiting players.

Had to turn it off, the last invite you sent it said too many players in my party to join, it was only me....plus lag with burst fire weapons was just unbearable.
People are exploiting this game I think, or maybe it's on purpose or accident? Twice now I've joined a match and this has happened. The title has changed to Search and Destroy and its chaos. There's wall to wall scorestreaks. Motherships and everything galore. Spawn killing like crazy. No score limit, no one is doing objectives. I dont know what is going on, but here is vid for opinions.

Haven't ran into one of these myself but I've been seeing these on reddit all weekend from people on PS4. Pretty sure it's intentional exploiting.
theres some weird private match bug where you start a private match and someone joins in session (some timing stuff involved) but then it drops that private match into matchmaking.. pretty weird stuff
Well that's messed up, I hope Treyarch hurries and fixes it because its getting annoying randomnly joining one of these. I wish they'd give you a server browser more servers or something, they just make problems for themselves with all this automated stuff.
Hopefully they all get banned.

I just watched this, made my stomach knot up. I have witnessed this happening in a lot of games my son has been playing. He never leaves a match, but after I watched this happening, I told him to leave. I thought they were cheating, never thinking it could be something else.
He was hoping to get on the double xp, but that didn't happen with matches like that.

This bug is another one that has been there for months that Treyarch should have fixed already, along with the account copying glitch. It's amazing how bad they are at doing their jobs right now.
This happens because there is a glitch that allows you to create a private game with your own settings and then, with lagging the game intentionally, put it into a matchmaking lobby which gives you actual XP. The reason the game mode is Search & Destroy is that every kill gives you 500 points, which also gives you huge XP. It's double XP weekend so exploiters are all over.
I have no clue how they're going to fix this shit, because if they just do a ban wave they will catch innocent players that got into these just by bad luck with matchmaking.

That is a real shame. How do people figure things like that out? I hope Treyarch will fix whatever is going on here. I just watched that video again with my son, he was confused with what was going on. Calabi hung in there though. Lol. I don't know how he managed to stick with it and trying hard like he did.
My son hasn't played a Call of Duty game since Blops II and really enjoys this game. I have seen him play Capture the Flag, Up Link and Safeguard, think Demolition and only to match up with players leaving because the other team is not playing the objectives. If they want to play like a free for all, they should play Team Deathmatch. Maybe I'm missing something here, but I don't get why people do that.

CTF and Uplink give extra points and XP if you kill someone while carrying the flag or ball. That's why they farm kills with them. Some objective games also make spawn points more predictable, for example you can't flip the spawns on Uplink.
This doesn't really happen on Safeguard because you only need one guy at the robot to move it so one team member actually playing the game can ruin it for the farmers.

Thanks for explaining. All he told me was that they score points for killing you. Up Link in Nuketown was really bad. Makes my stomach hurt thinking about it. All I kept seeing was players having the ball and running around just hitting others with it. It's so fast paced. I don't believe I saw anyone dunk the ball. It was really crazy. The other team was a guild. Capture the Flag wasn't as bad. I saw him play several games that were legit and a few that weren't. Hopefully, when the double xp is over, some of this stuff will stop.
He is really excited for the new stuff coming. Looks to be a lot of fun!

Did anyone glitch into a nuketown TDM or SnD match?
Happened to us yesterday and today, the game tried to load into combine but instead loaded into nuketown with just a few players. Then in the game you could only make kills via headshots which would grant 500 points. The game also did not end.
Funny thing is; the other players knew instantly that they had to make headshots to get kills, took us a while to figure out. Is this a hack or something?

See above in this thread. Yes, it is a glitch that has been there for months now. The glitch involves going into Custom Games and making your own rules (SnD with unlimited lives), then abusing a UI glitch to host a lobby in matchmaking with these rules, which gives you real XP. Hosts of these lobbies are definitely going to get banned because there is no way this can be done by accident, but I have no damn clue how they're going to handle all the innocent players who just happened to join these via matchmaking.
Treyarch is showing big incompetence with how long it's taking them to fix this shit. When the new update comes out with the DLC, this really should be fixed.
Wow that same thing happened to me for the first time on Friday. One second I was playing TDM the next second my screen showed search and destroy on Nuketown. Once the game started I just left because I had no desire to play S&D. Had I know it was how much XP I could have received I may have just stayed lol.

Is the Spectre challenge for getting double kills out of came glitched? I was trying to do it last night, I got one my first match but then I got 2 more and neither one counted when I went in and checked after the matches where over. So frustrating to try and do these things and not have them always count.

Unless things have changed, no. You should find it under Related Items for the game as a free download.
DLC is part of 9gb patch. When you update the game, you have the new maps.
Though you can manually download the new DLC via pre-loading it.
Here's the catch, for some reason season pass owners can't pre-load dlc, while people who buy separately dlc can.

I find that weapons start losing their effectiveness in the 30s, even with Double Tap and when Pack-a-Punched. At some point, I just don't know how you can be expected to keep going.
I honestly didn't even die from that. I had gotten down and revived due to the perk and I got caught out during my run. I completely forgot to use the gumball that would have saved my life (teleport to random location.)
Good to know you can only buy revive 3 times before it goes bye bye. Which I find stupid.

PC Players: Is mouse movement kind of juddery/stuttery for you in this game? I can't isolate what's happening, but using a mouse looks very choppy in this game when I move my aim around.
I'm not going over my VRAM limit, so it's not that kind of stuttering, and it's not happening in other games like Rainbow Six Siege and CS:GO, so it isn't my mouse. If I lock it to 60 FPS (I have a 144hz G-sync monitor) the game looks terrible when I move my aim around, not nearly as smooth as 60 should look, but again 60 FPS looks fine in other games.
Furthermore, if I use a controller in this game the aiming looks smooth and fine again.

Really?! They're making people who didn't buy the DLC download the maps as well? That's lame. It's not like I'll ever see those maps...
Even BF4's free maps are optional downloads. I wonder why it's mandatory.
