I'm amazed that people still get hung up on graphics in this day and age, especially for cross-gen games that you know will look and perform even better on the big boy consoles. 120fps over "cinematic visuals" any day of the week. I guess a lot here really enjoyed Killzone 3 multiplayer or something?

The whole point of a new generation is better graphics. Multiple studios doesn't mean that you have separate studios wholly in charge of "the graphics" you dolt.
There's no arguing or finding common ground with the likes of you though. You have no idea what goes into game development or how CoD games have always looked and felt great on a proper TV with 60 or even 120 frames per second along the level of fidelity they put on display (and obviously you want all the frames in a competitive environment).
But no, you only want every game to be on the absolute bleeding edge and always need them to showcase new tech in order for your juvenile brain not to be distracted by some other sparkly and shiny game lol.

Pretty much ever single Activision owned Studio that has released a AA - AAA game is working on this game.....every single one.
Totally crazy. I think only Radical have been left out, but they are probably working on the Multiplayer anyway.
Has a publisher ever said hey we own all you guys....now all of you, are working on one game.
Like if SquareEnix just pulled all the AAA studios under their wing and said you all work on this one game for now you hear.

oh, yeah that was bo3 and bo4 with specialists, not the biggest fan of it, bo3 did it better than bo4, but both still played decently. And eventually on bo4 they released a mode without those specialist abilities.

Look, at the end of the day the visuals of a game can only carry it so far. Some of the most popular and well received games are the ones that aren't necessarily "cutting edge" (Elden Ring, Valheim, Apex Legends, Warzone, Breath of the Wild, Fortnite, Minecraft, etc just from the top of my head). More often than not it's the art direction that carries a game visually and determines a cohesive presentation. We're going to get plenty more Hellblades, Uncharted's, Gears of Wars that will go all out on visuals but ultimately offer a vastly different experience to that of something which is a competitive shooter. Even if it had all the bells and whistles that are available for next-gen consoles I'd still turn those off in favour of visibility, performance and clarity.
People coming in here going "wow grafix sux, looks like one lazy studio working on it" after a single trailer are, to put it mildly, incredibly reductive takes. Poor ones at that.
All that being said I do think people going "wow this looks really bad" or anything along those lines is taking the piss. I used to a graphicswhore to an extent but in the year of our lord 2022 you'd be hard pressed to find a genuinely bad looking game from AAA studios. Like, unless a game genuinely looks like amateur hour from an art direction perspective I fail to see how something like MWII looks outright "bad". Maybe I'm spoiled as I'm from the MSDOS era lol.

Im not liking the price increase becoming a standard. With the current state of games being rushed and released with a ton of problems, many of them having micro transactions and/or dlcs, and the decrease of physical copies being sold i don't find it that justifiable.
I do think the physical sales dropped drastically since last gen, or the previous to that, so less logistics cost. I don't know about marketing, because me (as most around here) go search for the info we want, so the usual marketing campaigns are not directly targeted to us. And the mtx, well yeah...

I guess this one still uses the 2019 engine?

I dont release photos if the editing/post processing is garbage. I expect the same thing when it comes to video game visuals. Step your shit UP. This game looks dated as fuck and there is no excuse. It’s ridiculous.
