Every time there's a bit of a megaton going on on GAF (take the PlayStation Meeting, for instance), GAF will go out a few times for this or that amount of time (sometimes it's short, sometimes it's a long while before it comes back.) It also goes out completely randomly. (Like it did just 10 minutes ago, unless that was just me.)
GAF changed servers recently and the hardware was upgraded too last year, IIRC, yet it doesn't seem like it fixed anything. (I THINK GAF was able to leave the Off-Topic section opened during E3 last year, though) Is GAF simply getting too much visitors/members, or is there a bigger problem? Do people refresh too many times at once when there's something huge going?
Part of the fun of E3 is too be on GAF and read people's reactions and so it sucks when GAF goes out.
Now I'm not saying GAF is cheap, I'm just asking if the load really is THAT big.
