If you're short just move to an Asian country like China or Japan. Everyone there is short and suddenly...you become tall! Also tall people in America become giants there and it ends up being more of a nuisance than anything because you just tower over everyone and feel like a freak.

I'm 6'5'' and when I went to Japan a few years ago I kept hitting by head on the tops of doorways and I had to avoid low hanging ceiling fans. The chicks dug it, though.

Studies have shown that the "ideal" height for Americans is 6'2". This is the height that most people, male and female, desire to be, and also the height that most people associate with "heroism" and "valor". :p

I don't believe that many women want to be 6'2", where did you hear this?

Well, with me being at the "ideal" height, I want a girl that's around 5'7" to 5'10", not the same height as me. That would feel weird, I think.

Yeah, whoops-- my mistake. :p I meant that that's the height most associated with valor and heroism, and seen as the "ideal height" for men by both men and women. You're right, most women don't want to be 6'2" tall. :D

How do they come up with that "ideal" height, though? It just seems so arbitrary. Does it really seem like 6'1" people aren't as valorous? Are 6'3" people more likely to be considered freakish...

im 6'2". Does have its advantages i guess, im just glad i grew into my bigass feet. As a freshmen in highschool, i was like 5'7" and i wore a size 12, and by the time i was a senior i was up to 6'2. Thankfully my feet didn't grow anymore though.

I dunno, I forget the methodology they employed, but I would assume it was just either a questionnaire or a series of slides or a video showing people of various heights, where they then queried the participants as to which people they would most associate with various attributes.

I seem to grow an inch and some every year. I'm 17 right now. Last year I was 5'10; this year I'm 5'11'' and a half.

Scandinavian genes are cool. All my relatives are tallish too, and grew the most from 17-21.

All you have to know is Al Pacino's not 6 foot but that guy is the man. He's a bad mother fucker and he knows it. Height's got nothing to do with nothing unless your meaning to play basketball or be a professional wrestler

Slightly off-topic, I am nearly an inch taller when I wake up than when I go to sleep. Does this mean my bones aren't fused?

Nvm, it's just the invertebral disk fluctuation.
