Was totally worth it when Rodge Racer fired up. What's gas now? $2 a litre? Really the value of a PS console is still strong compared to other costs.

Yeah. Price cycle $1.80-$2.20 here in QLD. Totally agree on PS price compared to other costs. I bought PS1 at launch, because of RR and Battle Arena Tosh. demo in a store.
