Damn does it piss me off that new stuff that just got announced during a livestream today is already up for sale but stuff from smaller guys that was revealed early before e3 like the new Story of seasons is mia

Yeah I never heard of them either, but better to just order it first and check it later or else I'll miss the discount and be annoyed lol.

I preordered P5LE at EB already, might switch to BB but I dunno. I don't really want LE/CE crap anymore, no space for it!

It's too bad that at only 20% off their really isn't much worth ordering in the first place with the base prices being so darn high.

The new mass effect? No way am I paying $64+ tax for that after being burned by the last one

Skyrim special edition? Not paying $64+ tax for a bloody remaster

It's not quite as bad for the handheld stuff thought since at least 20% off will knock a $50 game down to $40 some I'm willing to be a bit more experimental at that price point

I think it's safe to say all the games on the 20% off list won't switch to the 49.99 list. It would result in a double dip for people that preordered the past couple days.

The only thing I bought was Pokemon. SMT4:A will likely go on sale as an Atlus game, and everything else that wasn't at last E3 worth buying is on PC so I'll either get it on CDKeys or free

Why is everyone loading on October? September and November aren't super stacked yet... I think tomorrow is going to devastate pre-order wallets.

A good number of titles scheduled for the fall after this week will wind up getting delayed into 2017 so I wouldn't sweat things too much.

The only clear glut is that everyone and their uncle is trying to flood the market with FPS and multi-player shooters in hopes of smothering Call of Duty from its defacto sales leadership position. Otherwise, this fall should be business as usual. In other words, delays, delays and more delays.

That's very true. It's just funny looking at the list of games I want and seeing 2-3 must-haves in September and November, and then six so far in October. But yeah, you're likely right about delays, and if not delays, games that will drop price significantly in early spring.

You should order the regular edition now and ask a CSR to swap it later down the road to the steelbook one. But I'm prety sure every edition in the first print is going to come with a steelbook anyway.

I never thought about it like that.. you are probably right.

I guess BF1, Final Fantasy and Watch Dogs 2 are the only games I will be preordering this E3.. kinda sad compared to my Preorder list from last year.

I am in for 49.99 titles.

1. Gears of War 4 pre order from last year at Amazon.ca
2. Battlefield, man it looks great but its still Battlefield with a fresh coat of paint.
3. FFXV again 49.99 from Amazon pre order from last year ... that promo stated 30% off. I think I am set.

Gears and Final Fantasy @ 35 on launch!!!!


Even though I have resources I just can't accept 80$ games ..

Digital Games at 80.

PSN makes enough mistakes at release putting things up for US MSRP I think there is a solid chance we might come out ahead just buying digital this time around.

I'm sure I'll still preorder a bunch of stuff just to potentially cancel but that's where my heads at right now.

See it as a case of Amazon having two different sku at the same price that would release at the same time and one of them has a steelbook case. When was the last time Atlus did something that wasn't global first print thing?

I would be really surprised both P5 and KoF XIV have two different releases (other than CEs) on release day "just because"

Physical has trade in value if you are not planning to keep the games.

Did my usual pre ordering of about 10 games and then decided wtf how is it a deal this year at almost $68 for a pre order. Cut it down to Battlefield and GT and called it a night.

Unless Sony comes up with something exciting today that's about where I'm going to leave it.

Same, all I got was the Persona 5 LE at Bestbuy for x25 points. Unless something like Root Letter goes up, I'm pretty much done.

I think it's best to just preorder everything and cut down as you get closer to release. You never know what might catch your eye and get you excited later on and it will be good to have that 20% plus price protection already if you change your mind.

How are people getting the Amazon $49 games for even less? I see $35 and $39 being quoted?

Did you have to have a preorder with them for those games already and have a new discount applied or something?

Yep, I have FFXV and World of Final Fantasy from my last year E3 order with %30.
They both dropped in price.
Amazon has lowest price guarantee.

Yes. If you already had an E3/Black Friday pre-order with a straight 20%/30% off, price protection gives you a new regular price and your pre-order gives you 20%/30% off that. If you don't already have a pre-order, $50 is the lowest price you can attain without CSR trickery.

The EB E3 promo is good if you have newer games that are $20+ in trade value. Otherwise, for games worth about $5, wait for a Trade-More promo which will add dollars instead of a percentage.
