Ha, Bestbuy fucked up my valkyria pre order, they charged me 35 and change and then I was was refunded $27 dollars earlier today, for the order since I had a post charge credit/refund.

Or order it with something else, then just return the other item.

Man, I really wish VC came in a regular PS4 case. Why couldn't they have just included the metal case as a bonus like most everyone else and not the actual case?

I like the cut of your jib. That'd be the smart thing to do, because steelbooks are the devil, but probably due to cost/shipping.

That's what you should do. They're good for that.

But CEs come with the game discs inside the steelbooks and you have to fight with/almost break the discs to get them out.

The only two CEs I've purchased that came with them are Mass Effect 3 and Metal Gear Rising

for the former it was in the steelbook, which sucked. I didn't even anticipate that honestly.

The good people at Konami were wiser, thankfully. game was packed in a normal plastic case.

I have a bunch of games that came with Steelbook only and it drives me insane, can't put the games where they should go in the library. I love steelbooks but I really dislike it when they do not also give the normal case...

Also - as someone who rarely buys online, I have a question: I've got some games ordered from BestBuy.ca (that 30% off preorders sale last year was too good to pass up). One is Overwatch CE for the PC. My shipping screen says that it releases May 24 (accurate) and that with free shipping, it could ship "as soon as June 2!" What the fuck does that mean? I won't get this on May 24-25? I may not even get it on June 2, it's only possibly going to ship 'that early'?

Oh man. Am I reading this wrong?

I guess I'll be buying this in store and returning the late shipped item with a receipt. That would horrible for folks who don't have a game store nearby. It should really arrive a day before to guarantee release day delivery.

The EB sale was mentioned previously, and I also posted about Amazon matching it. It's a good deal.

I just opened the one I bought. It's got a couple of scuff marks on it from production, but nothing major - just off colouration. When I put it in my drawer I lightly bumped it against the top drawer and am now worried I damaged it. Oh what fun.

I think you've potentially damaged the controller. Being brand new I wouldn't risk it.

Maybe there's different steel books. I've got steel books going back to the psi Era and they all come out easily.

Received my UC4 DS4 from amazon this morning. Went by home to bring it inside (also had some other errands near my house even though it's a work day), looked at it and mine seems fine. Those new thumbsticks looks way more durable, but I'm afraid they don't seem as comfy as the old ones. :/ Price to pay for durability I assume, which I rather have I guess.

The rubber on the thumbsticks seems different than the rubber on my other controllers, none of which are a year old.

Also, it's not encouragement. I want my mind to stop thinking about it. It just won't.

I'm on anti-depressors right now and it really helps with my anxiety. (not much with my impulses to buy new games though). These kind of things don't help for you?

I hit my head and am worried I damaged it :(

Yet I think Chewie is still more worried about his controller than I am it!

Also I really want to exchange my XB1 controller with a Dualshock 4 if anyone in Vancouver wants an XB1 controller instead of DS4!

So I'm looking up gameplay and reviews of Animal Crossing: Amiibo Festival since I bought it on sale, and I'm wondering now if I should return it. The game looks nice, and the few minigames it has seem alright, but other than that, the game looks absolutely boring. The inclusion of an Isabelle Amiibo is nice, since I've always wanted a little Isabelle figurine, but I don't know if the rest is worth keeping it for.

Is $450 too high a price to sell a PS4 + Uncharted 4, MGSV, and Infamous SS on kijiji/craigslist? I've gotten one decent offer for $400 and a bunch of $300 offers.

Do you enjoy the game of life, or board games like it where it is completely random who wins? Are you willing to buy more amiibo cards to play the one good mode (the desert island escape one)? If no to either of these questions, I don't think the game is worth your time.

I'd say $400 is a fair price. $350 for the PS4 and $50 for UC4. MGSV and Infamous would be bonuses.

I do enjoy Life (though it's been forever since I played, but nah, I'm not planning to buy any Amiibo cards. I have one from Home Designer and I read this game came with 3. I saw one of the mini games needs 6, so yeah, I'll probably return this. Been buying too many games anyways.

You can sell Uncharted 4 for about $65 and MGSV goes for $40-$50.

$450 would be low for that package.

I thought so since a brand new PS4 UC4 bundle is $500 new which is $565 with tax.
Fack I just want to get the maximum value for my PS4 and Uncharted 4 before the Neo gets announced.

Edit: Thanks guys I've changed my listing to just the PS4 + UC4 for $450 and MGSV for $50.

If anyone from London is interested I'll sell the lot for $450.

PS4 - purchased March 2014
UC4 - great condition only played through once
MGSV - sealed, came with the collectors edition
Infamous SS - same as UC4

Lol that was my game-plan as well: sell the PS4 (also bought March 2014) high before the re-sale value craters upon the official NEO announcement.
