Did anybody get Gravity Rush 2 from Amazon? Shipping went from coming today by 8pm to we'll email you when there is shipping information. Prime member here.

wtf is going on?

No idea :(

I complained when it and DQVII were only coming to me next week. I was reassured I would receive them today. Ya...not the case.

There are others here as well not receiving their games on release day.

Nope, Prime member here too. So pissed off and can't even contact them until after work.

I contacted them and they said there is a "Techinical issue" with the shipment but they are trying to ship it again soon.

I asked if they received the shipment and if it was a stock issue, and the dude was like nah its a technical issue

wat

Fuck them. So if it's a technical issue, why does it occur on every damn release lol

For me it began with Gears 4.

Headsculpt of F4F "10 Link figure...

Since a lot of stuff was coming out within the same time frame, I decided to trial out Amazon Prime. My Gravity Rush 2 order currently says "Not Yet Shipped" and "Delivery date pending". This is my third order since I got Prime, and this is already second failure to deliver.

It might be, last night they told me my copy was being prepared for shipping and just waiting to be assigned a carrier.

I'm no longer keeping games just for the sake of finishing them before selling anymore, if a game doesn't capture or hold my attention after I've started playing it, it's getting sold right away.

That's a great call. It's best not to force it if it isn't enjoyable and you can get some good coin back on it used through kijiji and ebgames if they are running a bump up promo. Not being able to do this, is why I tend to have to wait for some deep sales on PC.

It's Temporarily OOS so there's not much we can do.

Yep, that's what they told me.

They offered to extend my Prime by a month, I said nope don't bother I won't be renewing it. Then they offered $5 credit, I said nope again.

Whatever...NIOH demo should keep me busy for the weekend at least.

Regarding GR2:

Amazon: Upon checking with the leadership team, I see that the item will get back in stock on March 8th.

That...can't possibly be true.

Seriously, fuck Amazon right now. I'll just take the hit and get it from Best Buy if it's not here by Tuesday. GR2 is a game I have no problem paying full price for.

The Prime discount was nice though...

This seems to be the same thing that happened with Yomawari a few months ago. When I talked to them they said they'll get stock in a month or two. But after a week and a half, my copy shipped out.

Heck, the same thing with Overcooked happened as well. That also took a week after release to ship.

I'll wait for a week and then bite the bullet and order from Best Buy.

Glad I grabbed GR2 with EB, picking it up today. Good luck with Amazon, everyone. That stinks. Sony is really not promoting this game as much as they should in NA, and it shows in the stock.

All these Amazon horror stories...

I miss Best Buy's E3 deals, always got my games on release day or a day or two after. Not a Prime member and almost every game i've gotten from Amazon ships a week after release.

Seems like amazon is understocking and/or overwhelmed since the arrival of the Prime 20% off thing.

Amazon is shit for release day delivery or even to have the item shipped by the release date.

Don't know why this keeps coming up, it is well known they suck, especially if you don't have Prime.

Local game shop: "We didn't get any GR2 for some reason."

Did they not print more than five copies of this game?

Sorry done venting, ugh.

Note to others: be wary of trying to make any changes to your shipping details, lol. I had to strongarm Chat to get my orders of Yakuza and RE7 back to release-day shipping after the estimates were changed to Feb 3rd by my accidental clicking.

Gravity Rush 2 is likely being treated as super niche, even with it being a bigger title than the original. But I'm shocked that even some pre-orders aren't being met. I figured it'd just be hard to find a copy in the wild.

Any good deals going on with a surface pro 4 right now? Should I just wait for the surface 5 at this point.
They just recently dropped the price down by as much as $200 on certain models. Try your luck on BST in various forums... I just bought one for $900 flat for a BNIB SP4 i5 128gb model and saved myself $550.

Forza Horizon 3 Standard is 49.99 on Amazon (Prime) and at EBGames. Just strolled in to EB while waiting for someone and picked up a copy.

Really bummed that Play Anywhere doesn't apply to physical copy.

Anyone happen to have any insider info on when EBgames should be adding more Switch games for pre-order? Does it usually take them this long?

Yeah the BB I work at only received two copies of GR2.

WOW, really glad I got my BestBuy preorder then...

Didn't know Sony was so conservative with niche releases now... I kinda regret trading-in my Last Guardian at EBgames now. I figured I'd buy it back at $20-30 down the line, but now I'm afraid it might just disappear. Urgh.

I can guarantee we recieved way more copies of TLG.

Phew, thanks for the info! That's definitely a game I'll want in my collection down the line, I just figured I might as well trade it in now with the double credit promo (I received $60, which is more than I paid for it) and buy it back on the cheap since I finished it and won't replay it for a few years at least.

Sony of Canada has never had any will to promote Gravity Rush 2. See: the fact they never saw fit to release Gravity Rush Remastered in this country physically at all

Decided to head to EBGames to pick up a copy of Gravity Rush 2 (since lol amazon), and nearly didn't get one since all their copies were pre-order only.

Luckily, one of the employees decided to give me his pre-order since he was cool with not playing it till next week.

I knew this would be a niche game, but I've never had something like this happen before. There's always been at least one or two copies on the shelf.

Jeez, it's like when a physical Japanese Vita game used to come out.
