Any way to check if I still have a Futureshop order without the order #?

I'm pretty sure I had Legend of Zelda preordered with them but don't have any Futureshop emails in my inbox and no way to check.

A price sticker has no bearing on the return. As long as the UPC matches up and it will in 99% of the cases you are fine. Retailer exclusive versions are a thing of the past now so that is another non-issue.

The last time I remember having trouble with the return trick because of a different UPC was the original Watch Dogs. Granted I don't do it with every single game, but I've done it a solid 20 times in the years since and it's never once proved a problem.

With the last game I ordered from there, I get the email regarding my order. I guess if you haven't been getting emails about your pending order, then maybe you didn't order it.

So i just checked and i have a futureshop preorder of zelda as well. Which i think is better than the amazon one.

Is bestbuy good about switching the order over from wiiu to switch like amazon or are they a no go? Bc i think my futureshop preorder is prob better than the amazon one

Doubt it. When last guardian was announced PS4 only they didn't transfer ANY preorders as far as I know to the new one.

Amazon is very hit or miss and I would think the people who are getting it done are getting very lucky.

Well worst case i can just resell them for a few bucks extra to cover the switch version. I have a cousin in law manages a future shop so i will try him as a last ditch effort

For anyone who has had Amazon switch their breath of the wild order how was it done?
Did you call or did you chat?
Was the item actually switched? Did they just have you order a new copy and apply credit?

I went into a chat and that was the solution they provided, it should be the same for you if you had the E3 discount.

Just realized something when changing my billing info on my switch preorder on bestbuy.ca.

Seems there is no option to put your CVV or the security number on the back of your credit card in the payment area. Is that normal?

Had totally forgotten that I still had Gravity Rush 2 and Yakuza 0 preordered. Thankfully amazon was being lazy and didn't start shipping Gravity Rush 2 yet, so cancelled without issues. Can't afford any game that's not on a deep discount right now.

For Honor is next, but I'm gonna resell and make a decent profit off of that. Horizon Zero Dawn and Nier Automata are a definitely locked in purchases at $33 each.

Damn I would also keep those last two at that price, for sure. However I remember the last time I did the e3 Amazon pre-order special.. ended up with a game I didn't quite enjoy, despite the discount.

Is the Best Buy GCU program US only? I can't seem to find anything comparable to it on the Canadian site. Trying to get some deals on game preorders but paying Amazon $80 a year for a Prime membership doesn't set too well with me.

US only, we only get double reward zone points when buying gaming stuff.

Can anyone with experience with ebgames let me know if this will work or not.

If I go in tomorrow, and trade in some games towards switch game preorders (getting the double value credit).

Can I go in on tuesday or something and shift that entire credit over to something else, like a PS4 game?

No idea first hand. But this was asked before and the answer seemed to the discretion of the manager. But that most likely you'd lose the double credit.

Hmm... Well I'll risk it but be a little less suspicious I guess. I'll trade the games in tomorrow, and then go back a few weeks later and pick up the ps4 games I want. Not in a real hurry to play these games right away but still want to buy them early enough to show good support.

I just did a Trade 3 for Zelda Switch but I now noticed on my receipt that is says the Wii U version. Did this happen to anybody else or should I go back to EB and have it fixed?

Also Hori Accessories are now in EB's system and you can preorder them in store. They told me that the wired controller is $40, a huge savings vs the Pro controller.

All the ones available on amazon currently? I'll prolly go in tmw and preorder the premium screen protector and play stand tmw.

I'll prolly also preorder a standard BOTW zelda since I'll want to play that at midnight then sell the copy that comes in my master edition that is being shipped to my US address.

Same here, though it does say it will be delivered by 8:00 p.m. Friday. Good luck with getting a package to WPG in less than 24 hours.

I bet Amazon will ship it with my Yakuza 0/RE7/KH2.8 order just because.

Yeah, I'm thinking they may be waiting to ship it with my 2.8 order, but since I am signed up for Prime, if they do do that, seeing as how they are different orders, I will certainly complain.

Chat. Placed a new order and they magically changed the price in it. Removed the Wii U version from my previous order.
