Everytime I try to go into tutorial mode I get an error, everything else works. Is there a movie, or a guide that will teach me how to play this game?

Or is there a fix for the tutorial problem

Do you have the latest patch downloaded and installed? If not then do it. If so then post in the Civ4 forums, they have some very knowledgable people.

I posted there and noone helped, and I have the 1.52 patch!

Too bad. The only other thing I can think of is to make sure you have all the latest Windows patches and make sure your graphics card driver is on the latest version.

just play the game on lowest difficulty (settler? or something) with all help turned on. The tutorial is alright, but like with all the other civs 90% of the stuff you learn just by playing.
