Capcom to PSP fans, "What games would you like to see on your handheld system?"

Vennt to Capcom: GTA-PSP by Rockstar/Take Two, wha? Oh, 2D? Well... Hmmm, Uhhuhh, welll, (give me a bit...)

*runs*

I know Capcom doesn't usually engage in this practice, but perhaps they might consider porting some of their classic content?

Viewtiful Joe on the PSP would be, well, Viewtiful!

I thought Viewtiful Joe on the PSP was already announced (around the same time the NDS version was)

Resurrect Powerstone goddamn you. Hell make it Capcom Mega Fighting Stars and stick in the Capcom roster for all I care, just make it at least play like Powerstone. With Wifi support for up to 8 players.

I wasn't sure if it had been announced or not, so I just tossed up a comment. It is certaintly within the realm of possibility, though.

Black Tiger

a new Ghosts N Goblins, TWOO DEE OR DIE

A classic compilation of 1980's and 1990's Capcom arcade content that isn't SF2 or variants

Portable SF3 Third Strike with WiFi play

You are correct sir. Capcom already announced Viewtiful Joe for PSP. They also announced Darkstalker's Chronicles (as you know) and Devil May Cry PSP.

Indeed, Rival Schools and Power Stone are two Capcom series that I would like to see make a comeback. And a new Capcom Generations.

Can they really put Marvel vs. Capcom up there? They lost the license to Activision, no?

(PS: Bring back Bionic Commando)

I think that Viewtiful Joe would be an ideal game for the console.
But I would really like to see an Onimusha game.
I'd prefer it with prerendered backgrounds.Feudal japan atmosphere+prerendered backgrounds+PSP screen= teh awesome :O

Games that capcom should bring back (new, not ports)

Bionic Commando
Goof troop
Little nemo the dreamaster, yes it did rock!
Ghost and Goblins

Ports: Street Fighter III Third Strike, Monster Hunter, Resident Evil (pick one!)

New content: A new fighting game either made for the PSP or released at the same time as the arcade/console version, a new Resident Evil game.

And what I want to see is a sequel to Cannon Spike on the PSP :)
Not very likely. It was developed by Psikyo, which has since been bought up by a company called X-Nauts, which in turn must've lead to pretty much all the staff resigning since the quality of their games took a serious dive in quality after that.

REmake
Zero
RE2
RE3
RECVX
RE4

pls.

As much as I love Resident Evil, I don't think I would buy them for another system again... again. However remake RE2 and I'll finally have a reason to be interested in PSP.

In a perfect world, X-Men, Marvel Super Heroes, X-Men vs. Street Fighter, MSH vs. Street Fighter, Marvel vs. Capcom 1&2.

Yes. And I want all of the SFAlphas and regular SFs too.

I agree, no more ports -- a new Street Fighter Alpha game would rule. And I wouldn't mind playing a new version of Super Puzzle Fighter. A sequel has been way overdue.

No ports, but new installments in many of those series would be nice...

Powerstone, a new BoF game in the mold of Dragon Quarter, Monster Hunter (with wireless play, of course), a new Cannon Spike, and perhaps a number of other things. Their hardcore fighters don't seem well suited to the machine (or handhelds in general), but stuff like Powerstone and Justice Gakuen would be cool.
