Captain America: Civil War - Final Trailer

True, but then why would Tony be in the middle of a Hydra facility stopping Cap & Bucky from doing whatever they're doing? Not to say that couldn't be the case - is Tony so gung ho about ops going through the government first that he'd actually break into a Hydra base simply to stop Cap & Bucky from doing something ultimately worthwhile JUST because it's not officially approved?

I can see it!

But why clones

Like, seriously. Why.

Clones.
Because clones are the perfect thing to blame at the end of the movie so nobody looks bad and everyone was justified In their actions, thus removing all consequences that could have occurred in the movie.

Looks like this could be the same area where Bucky and Cap are armed and waiting and Tony comes through the heavy door, with the "You seem tense" line.

Hypothetical stupid suggestion time. What if Rhodey is in the tank. Tony wants to save him through the same method Bucky was saved. Bucky's obviously got lasting side-effects from the procedure, maybe worse than we know, and he work done by Zola. Plus, we've seen what happens to soldiers who get a partial procedure in Red Skull and Abomination.

Ooooooh.

Doesn't looks like Rhodey in there but an intriguing guess nonetheless

Old Interview
RENNER: It’s like a video game, really. Everyone’s got different attributes. You look at Ant-Man and you learn more about him. And you look at Black Panether, who’s sort of like a Hawkeye or others in that he doesn’t have super powers, just a really great skillset.
Okay BP is not enhanced like in the comics, possible Hawkeye tier, there is a little hope for Buck.

Bucky is down???=O This is in the trailer(well, some of it) but you'll easily miss it.

How much sense does it have for Ross to be attempting to establish his "Thunderbolts" (makes way too much sense) in the Sokovia Accords? Then whenever it presumably goes south by the movie's end, he's left with Zemo, Abomination (whom he was trying to push for the Avengers before Stark's meddling), and maybe even himself. Oh, and whatever other B-tier villains he can assemble.

If Panther is not enhanced that means he just outrunned a car and bike with good ol natural speed.

I don't think Renner knows what he's talking about - Panther was outrunning Cap in another trailer. No way he does that without some sort of enhancement, whether it's suit or abilities.

I hope and think they'll save that for a future movie. This movie got enough going already. I'm fine with Ross setting up or preparing for his own avengers, but keep the actual thunderbolts out of this.

It would be awesome for Ross to set up a Dark Avengers team for Infinity War... who get fucked up by Thanos real early on. Be a good way to show Thanos isn't fucking around if he's one-shotting a bunch of characters Marvel can afford to kill off permanently.

Bucky is Vegeta?

edit: re: The lump in the tank. It's Bucky clone 90%

we see the tank lift here (or at least, one of any possibly number of tanks).

Yup, I'm going with Bucky clone. Either that or they take him and brainwash him again. I don't see a reason for his mask to be on again otherwise, and I don't recognize that outfit either. Probably just missed it, though.

Yeah I meant as a simple Act 3/mid or post credits tease really. It's clear Ross has to have some sort of ulterior motive, and that would make sense to me. Maybe a "Fine, I'll do it myself". To be honest the number of post-credits scenes they could go for in this movie is insane. Almost warrants a post-credits montage.

- Spider-Man tease. Unlikely, but maybe they'll want to include more of him as he can't feature too heavily in the main narrative.
- Doctor Strange. Could do I suppose, though usually the post-credits are at least tangentially linked to the events of the movie, and Strange is nowhere to be seen.
- Another Thanos tease. We know he's coming, so this is a little redundant, and best saved for Guardians 2 where at least he's a little closer.
- Thunderbolts. I'm thinking Ross injecting himself, a dossier that says "The Thunderbolts Programme", something like that.
- Hulk. Possibly explaining why Hulk is wherever Thor ends up in Ragnarok.

I doubt we'd get a Thanos/Infinity Stone tease at the end of Civil War. Most post-credit sequences fit the tone of the movie they are attached to. I could see him appear at the end of GotG2, Strange or Thor.

This movie has Baron Zemo. I wouldn't be surprised if they used him as the building block for a possible Thunderbolts film.

I'd be down for a Thunderbolts tease with Ross injecting himself with the serum that would eventually turn him into Red Hulk. Plus with Zemo in the film, you already have the building blocks for a Thunderbolts film in Phase 4. It'd also be a great opportunity to let some of the TV stuff cross over by incorporating Elektra & Punisher (if I recall, the Netflix guys have movie appearances included in their contracts).

Also, I recall James Gunn saying that Thunderbolts would be his passion project aside from doing the Guardians movies. Maybe let Gunn have a crack at his dream project in addition to Guardians Vol. 3.

That could work. Ross sending in his own team to face Thanos, getting their ass handed to them. It would force them to call on the avengers to avert the threat.

"Stark, you need to get your team down here now."

"... say it."

"... pretty please."

Need to see that salt continue from the Hulk post-credits

They're opening the doors, fellas.

And yeah, the place was a HYDRA facility at some point, at the very least. The high quality trailer shows the HYDRA seal pretty definitively.

Man, I hadn't even thought about it, but they could also be setting up Rhodey to finally get that Dark Reign upgrade.

It's the conclusion to the Cap trilogy, of which HYDRA has been a massive part. They should be included in some way or another.

Makes more sense!
I am interested to see if Scarlet's gonna do any serious mind fuckery like in Ultron and what the consequences of that could be. I know Vision's powers are crazy, but I feel Scarlet could be a real wild card in that's still relatively new and her limits haven't been clearly defined. I certainly don't think she'll hit her comic book peaks, but there's enough implications in Ultron that a trained Scarlet Witch with training and full understanding of her powers could really do some damage.

Not to mention the mere advantage of the Russos calling the shots for action scenes instead of Whedon.

Oh I'm certain HYDRA will be involved in this. We already know that HYDRA is already back up to old tricks in Ant-Man, so their presence here is an inevitability.

Tony...

lol

Spidey sounds like he's high.

A super chilled out "hey everybody" shortly before superheroes pummel each other half to death. Figures.

Kinda seems like they may be in the process of uncovering a lot of HYDRA's hidden bases, and Cap and Tony end up at one.

beautiful, but the last scene, where you see "supposedly" all heroes from both factions going at it...
well.. it's empty :)
look at this scene..
https://youtu.be/dKrVegVI0Us?t=128
does not even remotely resamble the royal rumble that civil war was...
oh well :/

Yeah, this was addressed earlier.

Only the stuff in their immediate area is going to be real. Everything else will be green screen, just as it usually is for these kind of movies.
