Louisiana here. Already got a lot of rain, Cat 4 hurricane. Will probably loose power later tonight
Yea well Im more inland and to the east. Plus I don't live in flood zones. I am one of the lucky ones trust me. My heart goes out to the people that live along the coast and historic flood zones. You gonna ride it? Take care, bro!

Always a possibility yea. But one thing that really makes me proud to be in this state is community. When Gutsav hit Louisiana dead center (Cat 5 hurricane) everyone in my neighborhood came together to pick up the pieces and help each other out. There is also a org called the "Cajun Navy" made up of volunteers with river boats who go around to rescue people in flooded areas. It's nice to see people come together for a good cause.Watch out for looters, too. Stay safe, bro.
The strongest hurricane to ever hit the region (on record), apparently.

So people are trying to get some nice pics in before they evacuate? I can respect that, but I hope it doesn't cost them in the end.
That's ok I don't even know where Finland is at.I found out today that Texas has a coast. I always thought it was land-locked for some reason

Storm chasers be crazy.
My family lives right on the border of southeast Texas before heading into Louisiana. It would seem they're gonna catch the worst part of it. But they are in Dallas and safe, but who knows what they'll come home to.
