CBS Orders Supergirl Series

They're almost certainly going to be looking for someone in their mid to late 20s and blonde though the latter is less important. Regan was one of my top five for Wonder Woman. =\

As for cross overs, I imagine they'll be open to it and I doubt the issue of Titans having another crew involved would be enough to prevent it from happening if DC or WBTV wants to do it and TNT isn't going to be opposed to something that could provide a good size ratings bump.

Also kind of hoping Colton Hayes/Roy would get shipped off to Titans if only part time to give him more to do outside of Arrow and reduce Arrow by at least one regular.

She's older than what they are looking for....

Yep. She looks fine now, but on CBS when a show becomes popular it tends to stay like this for a long long time. They're propably planning this show for 10 seasons. Whoever they cast needs to be in their 20s, preferably under 25

So Power Girl's not real then? :(

I loved how they actually tried to explain why Power Girl's boob window was important, poignant, and crucial to the character. And it ended up making it 70000x worse.

I could hear a writers soul dying as they wrote those words.

I realize no casting has been announced but I wonder if this is a sign of filming starting soon?

Not surprised by the Supergirl cancellation. Having it on CBS was a joke. PREACHER needs to be an HBO or Showtime series. AMC just doesn't strike me as a station that can tell that tale as dark as it is! Preacher is a really, really dark story, that will definitely offend folks in this hyper politically correct age. I may be biased because Preacher and Sandman were my favorite comics, and I really want them to be the dark tales they are.

I have some bad news for you...

This is pure speculation but some people are guessing Melissa Benoist might be Kara based on her and the casting director following eachother and well this

Lolol What!?

I really didn't like her on glee but that show ruins everyone that's in it with its garbage writing so that's not the best way to measure.

Anyone see whiplash/how was she?

Remember Grant Gustin was on glee playing a terrible and mean gay dude (albeit with awesome hair) who tried to blind another gay dude so he could steal his boyfriend.

I would welcome Melissa Benoist as Supergirl, but this only enforces the need for a karaoke episode for The Flash. It now just mandates a cross-over with Supergirl. Also, her favorite song of mine onGlee: Holding Out For a Hero. Her boyfriend sang REMs Superman in the same episode.

LOL

Funny thing is, I still liked him as an actor even on glee, awful writing withstanding.

Can't say the same for her

She didn't really have much to work with on glee anyway, so it remains to be seen.

although someone said you could see most of her when she was on Homeland for a few episodes

She was pretty good in Whiplash. Had a pretty tense, emotional scene in a diner with Miles Teller that could have gone into histrionics or melodrama but they both played the scene really contained - which actually made the emotions hit a little harder.

If it's her, I'm more than happy.

This of course makes Whiplash the movie where Reed Richards is bullied by J. Jonah Jameson so bad that he doesn't think he can keep dating Supergirl.

As this Superhero thing keeps getting bigger, it's going to be harder and harder not to describe EVERY MOVIE that way.

Brokeback Mountain: Joker - whose kid is Sue Storm - and Rick Flagg - who is dating Catwoman - get to know each other better.

American Hustle is that movie where Batman and Lois Lane team up with Rocket Raccoon to run a scam on Hawkeye that could all fall apart because Batman's wife, Mystique, huffs nail polish and makes bad decisions.

Juno is a quirky comedy about Kitty Pryde, the daughter of J. Jonah Jameson and best friend of Judge Anderson, who gets pregnant by Scott Pilgrim, and has to decide whether or not she'll let Elektra adopt her baby.

Well, it could be any secret project, I guess, and the nature of secrets is that you can't post about them on instagram, so it doesn't necessarily PROVE it's for Supergirl.

hell, for all we know, she's Carol Danvers.

Makes sense to remove it considering it is for a secret project. THe hairdresser probably messed up. But I still hope it is for Supergirl if we can't have Claire Holt.

The Prestige is the hard tale of the rivarly between Batman and Wolverine testing out the regenerative powers of one and the prep time of the other. It is even too much too handle for their friends and lovers Black Widow, Maya Hanssen and Alfred the Butler. The Hulk plays a small part as David Bowie's assistent.
Serkis does the motion capture for Hulk in Age of Ultron
