Good move

But eh, to me its much more about PR talk than anything else. One thing is Sony/Microsoft/Nintendo, Apple, Steam and other huge companies stoping sales in Russia.

But one game dev?

I mean, i do like russian girls lol

Its funny you say that because I was going to make a russian bride joke, I was going to write "Russian bot/bride" but I decided it was too weird and made no sense. Little did I know it would've been the perfect thing to write, always go with your gut:

doughy get a life GIF

what you doing to help?

one game dev might not seem a lot but it sets an example. the more people crack down on russia the better. i think everyone should be doing their part (no matter how insignificant it might seem) to send a message to Russia. This war is the biggest threat to democracy and humanity in decades.

well done on missing the point and bigger picture. i'm not saying all those other situations are meaningless but the russia/ukraine war has potential to kick off WW3 and the threat of nuclear war is the highest it's been in ~30 years.

Sadly it's just a matter of time until China invades Taiwan now and it kicks WW3 in Asia.

But i dont think we will see the deploiment of Nukes, but drone, proxy and cybernetic warfare

I'm doing as much as you, probably

And I agree with you. It's good, regardless of their intention. But the cynical in me believes that this is much more about PR than actually good spirit.

Context is important, use your brain.

Punishing Russian gamers is going to backfire. Putin doesnt care about video games.

I think corporations and especially the entertaintment industry in general needs to be apolitical. Witcher 4 is not going to convince any Russian to go fight Putin. It might have the opposite effect and create a feeling of abandonment and fester an us vs them attitude that plays right into Putin's hands.

I think the best way would be to hire cyber attack teams to freeze/get rid oligarchs and high official members bank accounts, or blow up servers and banks. Doesnt matter if you target the population but the same people keeps on power with all their money.

4k60fps lol. what year is it?

let me know when you can play at 8K 60Hz or 5K 144Hz

Damn you first worlders! Always ahead in gaming :messenger_loudly_crying:

If the west didn't get involved then there would be no threats of nuclear war. Lame excuse.

Retard.

Context: Ukraine has a zog so it's important to defend it. Middle Eastern countries don't have it, so it's okay to bomb them.

I mean fuck Russia and fuck Putin.

But all these companies are like:

Ok, maybe, but for CDPR this literally hits closer to home than that. Poland has historically faced Russian occupation themselves and are currently taking in hundreds of thousands of refugees from Ukraine.

I kinda wish they would keep selling their games to Russia, then use the money they earn from said sales and send it straight to Ukraine for help in aid and supplies against Russia.

Normal people in Russia are not allowed to protest now, in a strange fucked up way this would give them a voice.

Not to take anything away from CDPR, but with the sanctions they won't get paid for the games that they "sell" in Russia anyway.
