I guess it is also possible CDPR tracked down GMG's distributor/retailer... I'd be very surprised if there was no clause preventing selling bulk keys to resellers.
I have a feeling we won't hear much more about this, and it will just end up with more questions than answers.
I'm kind of hoping they just progressively price it higher and higher each day just so people get confused and look it this. Like, tomorrow it's $78, then $104 on Saturday, just for a laugh. Maybe sell The Witcher 2 for $0.50 one day.
Might have just worked something out with CDP after all the hoopla. GMG pretty much broke their own policies to get the keys even if well intentioned and CDP was getting flack for the stuff Gamespot injected into the thing
The Know (a news channel part of Rooster Teeth) just did an episode on this and booooooy is it clickbait, people trash talking GMG in the comments who didn't even finish watching the video.
