No, just stating that somebody else was asking about them lately too. I'm only relaying what I've read on other forums. I wouldn't trust their ' in stock' message, especially for older titles.toythatkills said:You warned a guy, therefore the store is unreliable?
I'm in the UK and it's probably been over six months since I last had gold. I bought it but I don't appear to have been given any surprise...Vinterbird said:What country? How long have you been a silver member?
Hopefully this deal is EU wide, I could need some cheap gold.
You won't get it straight away. You'll get an email in a few weeks or so.CRD90 said:I'm in the UK and it's probably been over six months since I last had gold. I bought it but I don't appear to have been given any surprise...
Monkeylord said:Strange, I'm staring at my 360's dashboard right now and the offer presented to me is "£10 off your next gold, 12 months for £29.99"
Where's the 12 months for £25 plus a free gift!?
They are targeted ads. Not everyone gets offered the same.Monkeylord said:Strange, I'm staring at my 360's dashboard right now and the offer presented to me is "£10 off your next gold, 12 months for £29.99"

Probably will arrive sometime next year.

state_vector_collapse said:That's the reason I stopped using them. They would happily take orders and then a few days later email saying they were waiting on stock.
Yenrot said:Heads up: GAME have a massive inshore sale. Lots of newish games at £9.99.
Every game. I only looked at Xbox games (cause that was my Xmas present). Anyway these were the standout games for me and they were all at £9.99:Bleepey said:Which games?
toythatkills said:They're fine, and 4% Quidco.
My general rule: is the site on Quidco? Yes? It's fine.
SimplyGames are old school though, one of the first internet games stores I ever used all those years ago.
Linkified said:Hi guys want to know what you guys think of Simplygames just want to get RDR with some xmas money I have and its the cheapest place I've seen it, and I'm a bit wary when it comes to using new websites for orders.
Anyone used it and was it legit?

MW2 and Crackdown 2 certainly aren't under £10 at the store I work at, they are around £12-15 pre-owned. Most recent releases are reduced by pretty decent amounts, although they have probably still been cheaper online.Yenrot said:Every game. I only looked at Xbox games (cause that was my Xmas present). MW2, Crackdown 1 and 2, Just Cause 1 and 2, the new Splinter Cell game, L4D 1 and 2. Every music game was £9.99 cept RB3 which I didn't see.
Dead Rising 2 - £21
FIFA 11 - £23
There was also an uber bomba but I forgot what it was.
Play n charge cable - £10
The gift is an avatar clothing item/prop, it's mentioned in the small print for the advert on the dashboard.Emonga said:What's the gift
Ebay has been good to me about 2 months back, I have a mint copy of Midnight Club LA complete edition for £6I NEED SCISSORS said:I have recently devised a new way of getting games cheap.
1. Buy games pre-owned
2. If necessary, gather 3 of these games and get the discs repaired at Game for £5
3. Buy replacement cases on ebay for 50p each
PS3 games are better because the discs are more scratch resistant. Manual condition can of course still be an issue, but manuals suck nowadays so who really cares.
Using these arts I have been able to save some money buying from eBay.
Can you use that if you live outside of the UK?acm2000 said:why are people still using quidco when topcashback is free, and offers the same, if not more rewards?

(gaming-related since I'll be getting at least a couple of games with the credit.)
