Yeah I know, that's what I meant, reallyFox1304 said:Be careful there. DS2 isn't move-compatible. Only Extraction is ...
CCPro - none, ever. Your best bet is bundled with a game you're interested in going cheap (e.g. goldeneye, I think the SKU with CC pro can be found for about £30)mclem said:Finally, Mum also started to remenisce about Mario Kart, so started drooling a bit when I showed her the virtual console. What's good at the moment for a CCPro and some Wii points?
Starwolf_UK said:Just bear in mind the PAL virtual console sucks because the games will only run in inferior 50Hz mode so play slower than they should (due to lower framerate) but that may or may not bother your parents (depends on if you imported the hardware in the day or not).

in the email they mention the actual reason, nothing over 1kg (is it really that heavy?)
That can't be right. The starter pack is 50£ at hmv.com, but I bet you can find it for the same price or better elsewhere. I think it's the SRP.Minamu said:Yeah I know, that's what I meant, reallyBut who knows?
Glowball+camera bundle is 80£ at my local gamestop. I'm sure that can be beaten, right? :lol
If you moved away from home recently, Posti (or Itella, whatever it likes to call itself these days) might have forwarded it to your new address. If not, the I don't know what it's about.Spwn said:So I ordered Super Scribblenauts and Dragon Quest IX from Amazon to my mother's address so I could have something to play during the 10 to 48 hour train ride back home (the Finnish trains have been a bit unreliable lately). The games were delivered to my home address, although it says in the order summary that they were delivered to my mom's address. Weird.
So that means I have a crappy train ride to look forward.
We have crazy taxes over here. Thanks, I'll check it out.Rolf NB said:That can't be right. The starter pack is 50£ at hmv.com, but I bet you can find it for the same price or better elsewhere. I think it's the SRP.
The starter pack includes one Move controller, PSEye camera and a demo disc.
Navicon is separate.
Game station had it for £50 I think. In store, didn't check onlinewindfish said:are there any deals or places to get the gran turismo 5 signature edition for cheap? i absolutly need this package![]()
Yup, Game also have it as part of the January sale in store for £49.98. Good luck finding any stores with them still in stock though, they sold out VERY quickly.mrklaw said:Game station had it for £50 I think. In store, didn't check online
just read it on the pc. damn, how many pages does this magazine have xD pretty cool interviews and stuff. can't wait for the next issue!jarosh said:i'm seeing £20.82 for 13 issues actually:

also reading it on the ipad. love it.
When i've bought instant codes I used shopto myself, £16.99 and £34 though.YianGaruga said:What's a cheap and reliable way to get MS Points instantly?
I only know http://cheapxboxlivecodes.com, is there something better/cheaper?
4200 points card to be exact, cheapest I could find is 38,25 / £32,20.
How is it on PC? The preview where it displays the first page and a page of art don't really give me a good idea of what it will be like.banKai said:just read it on the pc. damn, how many pages does this magazine have xD pretty cool interviews and stuff. can't wait for the next issue!
Hmmm. I did not tap dat in the Steam Sale, so I might have to check my local Dixons to see if they have any in-shop.Turnstyle said:Alpha Protocol is £4.97 delivered at both PC World & Dixons:

Believe this applies to 360 & PS3.
Say you did sell it for £3.49, 45pence or so will go to ebay fees, and as always some idiot out there will report the code not working and ebay will take your £3.49 back, so not worth the effort to save a few quid.Keyser Soze said:Most pointless deal ever (as you cannot Play it anymore)...
Richard Garriot's Tabula Rasa: Limited Collector's Edition (PC) - £9.99 @ Play
...although maybe it will be worth something if you keep it safe for a couple of years.
Better stuff:
8gb USB Flash Drive - £6.79 @ Play
Xbox Live 2100 Points Card (With Banshee Avatar Prop code) - £15.99 @ Play (I see the Banshee codes selling on eBay for £3.49, so maybe you could make a bit of money back, and get a better deal... maybe, don't bet on it)
Halo Wars (360) - £7.99 @ Play (this could be going of of print it seems)
and
WRC - FIA World Rally Championship (360) - £13.68 @ Amazon

acm2000 said:i cant believe people actually put money down in GAME as a deposit :lol
I think it is because people get reward points! And some stores do a student discount. And it's the only thing I've ever known since I was 12 years old so fuck changing now. I've never seen reward cards work so well aside from people buying petrol at Tesco for the club card points. I don't shop in there because the staff are often rude and their trade in prices are obscene.kyo_daikun said:Yeah, why the hell should you put cash down for a deposit? I'll just preorder from play.com or amazon for free thanks
It's pretty simple, a small chunk of people never turn up to get the game. It's free money. Plus they get your contact details so they can spam you.kyo_daikun said:Yeah, why the hell should you put cash down for a deposit? I'll just preorder from play.com or amazon for free thanks

People will do so and the stores know that if you have money laid down with them you are going to come and finish paying, not many people will change their mind when they are a tenner down. It's been this way for years on retail stores.acm2000 said:i cant believe people actually put money down in GAME as a deposit :lol
FJ0372 said:Hey guys, can anyone point me to the cheapest place to buy a PS3 slim (UK)? Looking to swap out the harddrive so 120/160GB would be ideal.
Best I could find is Amazon...
Goron2000 said:Hey euro gaf, I've recently gotten rid of my 360 and I have 2 12 month Xbox live cards that the store wouldn't take. I don't know if this is the right place to put this but I'm pretty sure they only work in Europe or maybe just the UK. £15 Each, let me know if you'd like one.
