french version is FRENCH ONLY ?

Very difficult to know unfortunately. Big franchises are usually in French (menus, poor voice acting, pathetic translation and all) and more often than not with no option to switch to English (Dead Space was in French and German for whatever sadistic reason though).

And this is why I stopped even trying and buy all my games from the UK unless I know for sure there is a damn option tu put the whole game in English.

French Bioshock 2 PS3 has English VO and subtitles, I can confirm that.

Usually, on the PS3 you're safe. On the Xbox 360 though, it almost always is french only and as BaronLundi said the translation and voice acting are terrible and have to be avoided like the plague in most cases.

Good to know ! You'd think they'd systematically put the languages on the box...

Alpha Protocal 360 £7.99 on play.com
Blur 360 also £9.99 on play.com

*edit* zavvi 15% codes, cheapassgamer thread and info. This can make 2100 MSP £13.56

*edit2* this 15% code also seems to work on preorders, Gears 3 for £32, anyone?

Code also seems to work on consoles, at least it does in the basket right now, act quick before they stop it :P

I must be doing something wrong, following the link at CAG I get thrown to a website asking me for a code. Is the 15% code no longer a thing, or am I missing something?

I just checked the hotukdeals thread and it seems like it's been pulled. :(

Fortunately, I sort of anticipated this last night and pre-ordered Skyward Sword for ~£29 and both Pokemon Black and White for ~£24 each. :p

TheGameCollection have Might & Magic Clash Of Heroes for £6.99.

zavvi 15% was pulled? damn should have stuck with buying that 4g touch for £160 last night :(

I have 3 lots of codes, going to see if they still work on the website. *edit* fuck codes don't work :( :( :(

bee.com is also doing the 3DS for £199.99 which is cheaper than the £250 being estimated elsewhere.

They say: "Please note:The current price is an estimate. Our pre-order promise means that if you place an order with us and the price drops between now and release, you will pay the lowest price listed. You will not be charged until your Nintendo 3DS ships. Release date is also subject to change."

But what would happen if the price went UP and not DOWN?

Do Bee have a cancel page or am I missing something. That's the only reason I do not like that site right now.... I dont want to be tied to a preorder

So at least not more than £199.99.

Unless I've missed the post, it seems that nobody here has experience with Bee ?
Any words on their reliability, cause they sure offer some oustanding prices.

Their deals get posted on Hot UK Deals, and get voted hot. If there was something bad, then that site would attack every deal posted (like they do with Very)

I preordered one game to test them out, but I dont see a cancel option which is annoying me for possible future orders.

I saw someone post over on CAG that they had bought something from them shortly after they launched last year and recieved it within a couple of days. Doesn't speak to pre-orders and such of course but it's the only thing Ive seen so far.

I took a leap of faith and pre-ordered Dead Space 2 from them, so I'll report on how that goes when I get it.

Thanks guys.
I won't order anything yet (phenomenal background and budget cuts for this new year), but I'll keep the website hot and steady for when I'll be back on new relases ;)

This. They also don't have anything on the site about lost packages, but support told me they send a replacement copy after 28 days.

Let's see how it goes with my LBP2 preorder.

I have just pre-ordered LBP2 from them so will let you guys know how it goes.

Tried to pop this onto Hotdeals UK but they wont allow it, so I am spreading the word manually.

Video Game Imports (UK Importer been going 20years!)
Have got Kinect + JPN Kinect Adventures (region free) for £69.99, these are stripped from JPN 360S Kinect Console Bundles, so they are getting sold as used but they will be new.
Great deal if you want Kinect that wee bit cheaper and own the Slim Console as it ships without AC adaptor for original 360 consoles.
They ship to europe too.

Limited Stocks.
On new arrivals, right hand side.

Maybe interesting for others as well:

I always wanted to buy that neat BioShock 2 CE which was often available in various shops for less than £20. However, if you are from mainland Europe you're out of luck as apparently all of the usual shops won't ship heavy stuff (>1kg) there.

Now I found the PS3 version at amazon.co.uk for £16.10 from a marketplace shop. Usually those don't ship outside of the UK but this one actually ships via amazon as it is "Fulfilled by Amazon". So you get the service and speed of amazon and the low price of that specific shop.
http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0033AGD82/

Shipping is the same as for a normal game from amazon.co.uk to e.g Germany (which is £4.98 for some reason...), so it's a total of £21.08, which is still cheap enough :)

Already dispatched btw so it works.

oh and UK's VAT increase is already in effect, right?
Amazon didn't add VAT to my order. Now my countries' VAT is less than the UK one, so shouldn't the amazon prices actually decrease for me? :P But effectively it's now cheaper for me I guess as the product&shipping prices themselves haven't increased yet.

I am so tempted, yet scared to do so.

Videogame Imports are trustworthy if you are concerned about that. I'd imagine what they are doing is stripping them out of all the 4gb + Kinect bundles so they can just sell the JP 4gb console separately and bring the price down to what they used to sell Jasper systems for.

Although the price is very tempting I think I'd rather wait until it hits the sub-£30 pre-owned mark.

Yeah I am always cautious using my card online on a place i've never really heard about,I was playing with a kinect just yesterday at a friends and had fun, so for half price I am tempted (and for all that pc funny stuff too like dancing to animu dolls lol) I personally can't see this thing hitting £30ish anytime soon.

The only game I intend to purchase Kinect for is Dance Evolution, so I'm quite happy to wait the 3 or so years for it to hit that price point. £70 is certainly tempting but not quite enough to seal the deal.

I saw DJ Hero (1, with turntable) instore at HMV today for £29.99. Pretty good price if you're looking for another turntable for cheap, or are just curious..

Considering MS wanted to market it as heavily as they would market the next Xbox. And taking into account that it didn't bomb, I'd say it'll take more than a year until we see them going for £30, even used.

So I preordered DS2 at zavvi. Will I ever see a code for DS: Ignition? Or was it gamestop-only or something?

There are no codes. The whole first shipment of the game is the CE and comes with Ignition.
