I've been waiting for Arkham City to drop to £17.99 again since Christmas, can't imagine it will take too much longer. Forza 4 was ~£20 in the run up to Christmas, so I'd look out for that price too.

That said, assuming you want all of these on 360:

Forza 4 is £25.97 @ Coolshop and £26.27 @ Amazon
Arkham City is £28.49 @ Coolshop, £29.86 on the banned site, £31.63 on Amazon
AC: Revelations is £28.97 @ Coolshop and £29.98 @ Gameplay
Dirt 3 is £14.95 from Zavvi and The Hut

Since when did Coolshop have the best price for so much stuff? Take note everyone else, let's price war this up!

I have told them on the 20/12/11 that my game must have been lost. I did order a couple of other games after that one and they all arrived before my complaint. They only said that they cant do anything until 21 working days have passed (30/12/11), but then they kept ignoring me until today!

Tbh I am really pissed because I could have orderd at Play, if they just had replied me if there will be another shipment. Thanks for your help!

Anyone could help me? They want to force me a refund, is that legal? I reported that the game has been lost for sure on the 20/12/11, but they just didnt wanted to send me another copy. Fuck that!

What is even the problem here? They sent you a game, it got lost, they don't have another copy, they refund you.

Joke post? They refused me to send me another copy while it was still in stock. 7 weeks later it is sold out everywhere. I asked them several times if there will be another shipment but they kept ignoring me. Didnt you read at all?

As I understand it they're only obligated to offer you a refund. Since they've done that there's not much you can do besides watch out for a good price in the future there or somewhere else, unfortunately.
 
Are there any good deals going around on Skyrim (PC) at the minute? Either digital download, or retail, whichever is cheapest, I'm really not fussed :)

Cheapest I can see is ~£35, but it must be cheaper than that somewhere... right?

Now the game is sold out everywhere and thats exactly my problem. I dont care if the game has been lost, but they didnt even reply to at least 5 requests if there will be another shipment.

So every uk online game retailer is crap ? Amazon.co.uk offers non-competitive shipping and handling costs and you cant return games as a non-uk resident to ***********... Even if your game is damaged.

Yeah, it's fair enough that you're unimpressed with the situation.

This is probably a long shot, but I thought it worth posting:
You can get the game used as part of Blockbuster marketplace's 2 for £20 deal here (£15.95 alone if there's nothing else you want)

I don't know what the shipping situation is to wherever you are, and it's really dependent on if you want another game in the deal to how good the price is, but it's where I got my copy of the game from and it arrived in perfect condition. Just thought it could be of use :)

They did the same thing to me, with Deus Ex: Human Revolution for PC. I did actually get the game at first, but it was a duplicate CD key, so I had to send it back for a replacement...which never came. In the end, after reporting it lost in the mail like you did (They even told me that it was dispatched! >:( ), it was three months till they sent me a full refund, without even as much as a by your leave. They could have told me they were out of stock, but nooooooooooo.

I got the Amazon deal a week later, spending about 60% of what Zavvi charged me. Should've just waited for the Steam sales.

I think it's just the way they do things. Fuck Zavvi. In fact, why aren't they banned instead of shop.to?

We dont have blockbuster in my country. In fact prices here are insane. Okay, in the last months there were some good local offers once in a while. So which retailers would you recommend? No TheHut Group or Shop-to (they dont let you return games, even if they are faulty..)

Sorry to hear that. My problem is that the PS3 version is sold out everywhere and I avoid buying again at shopbannedstore.. I had to ask the publisher to get a non-resealed unused copy of the game..

That's the price you pay for the usually good prices.

Do the website not ship to Europe? That's what I meant, not going in to the store. I ordered my Shadows of the Damned online from the Blockbuster site.

Ah okay, I didnt know that. Unfortunately I am too picky for used games. :P But thanks for the heads up! The UK gamers are blessed when I remember SoTD being 5 pounds at Gamestation instore :)

I always got them around 2 to 3 weeks later.

Zavvi.nl seems to be legit, two friends of mine got their orders within a week. Dutchies should also be checking Budgetgaming.nl for good deals in Dutch retail/online.

This has luckily started happening a lot in recent times. Recent times defined as post-christmas rush and post-reintroduction of the shipping charges. At least to the Netherlands ;).

Yeah, but zavvi.nl is usually a bit more expensive if you figure in the exchange rate to pounds, so the UK site is often still a bit cheaper, even with the shipping costs included.

I'm not sure where you live, but 4-7 days after release is the best I have seen zavvi achieve when shipping to mainland Europe.
