Fuck me, that was fast. All the Mario statues are sold out, so the deal isn't possible anymore.

The deal is still being advertised though, so it may be worth checking back often to see if they get more statues (and copies of Mario Tennis) in.

How do you even add the billing address, it won't let me past the screen where you have to add a UK or Irish address...?
Sorry, I should have been clearer. Billing address is payment option after you get past that screen. Which makes it a bit worthless you can pay with a card from say, United Arab Emirates if you lack the shipping address in the UK or Ireland. I just found it odd.

I have a feeling the deal was meant to be free Mario Stand and not free Mario game. Which would make it good if wanted the stand and the game rather than either.

Ok, thanks for the clarification... I guess that means no cheap NSMB Wii for me. :-(

Everybody's Golf is cheap on PSN this weekend, together with other golf-titles.
Both the Vita and the CE PS3-version cost £7.99/€9.99.

Jesus christ the discounting gets crazier still. What's in the LE (edit - nothing of worth. A really paltry soundtrack "selection" and postcards) and how reliable are ShopTo?

The Crystal Edition is completely sold out, so no chance of seeing it discounted... It was the "real" collector's edition, with the complete soundtrack. I missed it so I had to buy both the game and the soundtrack for more than the Crystal Edition's price :(

ShopTo are great, for the five-minutes stuff you get a photo of your package in one minute and it arrives the next day.

My XIII-2 that I bought for £10.40 got traded in at HMV for £9 against a Regina Spektor CD and a pre-owned Anna Calvi one. Their pre-owned selection was basically entirely Boyzone and other mid-90s boy bands which people are obviously embarrassed to still own, but there's the occasional gem and since they cost £2 no matter what they are, they're worth rooting through.

I don't even own a 3ds yet and just bought that with 3D land, about £18 after conversion + postage on top.

Even if I get no use from this my little bro will.

It worked for me about half an hour ago so they must have had more in, paypal went through and so far no problems or bad emails.

Too bad GameStop UK and IE doesn't send their products outside the UK and Ireland, the Mario statue + game is one of the best deals I've seen in months :(

I was going to put an order in for New Super Mario Bros with the statue, but due to the nature of the page couldn't be sure if it was the Wii or DS game.

Can't really regret it because I would've been annoyed if the DS version appeared on my doorstep, but that was awful clarification on the page.

I hesitated too, as all it said was "Mario Tennis", without any indication of console. Still, well worth the gamble I'd say!

I erred on the side of caution. The Mario Kart listed with Wii wheel made me wonder, but the Wii version normally has Wii in the title I think? A strange thing not to state on the site, but they're not so bad, sure I've had a couple of bargains from them already!

I had similar reservations so I searched for the game and saw the bundle option appeared on the individual game page (though it sent you to the bundle page) and also New Super Mario Bros DS was out of stock new. I'm still expecting statues with no games or a refund to be honest as it seems like a glitch. I mean the non-3DS Mario games make no sense and as for the price, €20 sounds like the price the stand would be in a sale so maybe the deal was supposed to be free stand with the game rather than free game with the stand.

Edit: Also the order confirmation says system. It prices thing randomly. My Mario statues were £6.81 and £6.46.

Could you tell me the differences between the two Everybody's Golf versions (PS3/Vita)? Same courses or everything new in the Vita game?

Edit: nevermind, already bought it ;)

It's a completely different game. Different courses, characters, etc. It's well worth owning both if you're a fan of the series and own both systems. I don't own a Vita myself, but I've played it, and it's awesome (in my opinion, the best Vita-exclusive game currently available). £7.99 is a steal.

Actually, is that £7.99 price a temporary offer? If so, is there a way I can buy it without owning a Vita? I'll be getting a Vita eventually for Persona 4, so I'm willing to spend £8 now to have Everybody's Golf waiting for me when I do get one.

Yes, it's only for the weekend, so it should be gone soon (don't know the exact time). You can buy Vita games from your PS3.
