1 The Walking Dead - PS3 On or before 7th August * €16.65

Horray for broken coupons

So PortugalGAF did Zavvi ever returned to free delivery or not? Because from what I tried now it appears Free delivery before checkout, but when paying they are trying to charge 4.99 for delivery.

Did you really ordered (and got free delivery) or just put stuff on the basket?

Nope. They still only offer International Tracked for Portugal, which is 4.99. Check their delivery page.

My local Game had the 3ds Circle Pad Pro for 3.99 but when the guy scanned it at the till it came up 1p ! he sold me it for that price.

Not sure if it was a one off or nationwide but if you are after one might be worth a try.

It seems thehut will now take 2pounds as postage for orders < 10pounds. Above 10pounds will be like before (no postage costs).

Also new coupons:
1.50pounds off 20pounds -> HUT150
4pounds off 40pounds -> 4HUT

valid till 6th of august. Like always - no hardware, preorders, bla bla.

Considering Ni No Kuni at £20.48 using the voucher from The Hut. What are the chances of a large price drop in the near future? Must be slim, even with the second printing earlier this year.

In case some fellow Russian GAFfers are monitoring this thread, I'd like to bring newmans.ru to their attention. That place has some amazing deals!

I just ordered Dragon Quest VIII new for 208 roubles (€4.8/£4.1) from them with free collection from their local office (they also have a courier service, normally 300 roubles/per item, free for many items). Most other prices are closer to the standard ones, but still mostly lower than average, and lastly there are some decent deals for 3DS XL bundles (as in matching standard European prices, Nintendo hardware is horribly overpriced in Russia and most places don't even sell those bundles). I understand that they only work within the 160 (?) cities they have a warehouse in (which unfortunately doesn't include Moscow), no international shipping either.

Exactly.

If the artbook is shitty, there is no real reason for me to buy it. And I already own the Japanese artbook, which is 80 pages. Worst case: the CE artbook is the same but a few pages more than that and may even be BluRay case size (which would be smaller than the Japanese artbook). And even if it's the best situation possible (almost completely new artwork + regular size), I still have a hard time coughing up more than twice the price just for that.

They should have included the full soundtrack instead. Would have been instant buy from me.
Or maybe include these here:

instead of a figurine that I feel embarassed to buy.

I really don't understand why they can't just show the artbook. Or at least tell us the size of it.

IGN have an unboxing video up, where the artbook is shown.

Anyone got any recommendations for what the most GPU-taxing PC game is, and where to find it for cheap if I don't already have it? I built a new gaming rig yesterday, want to put it through its paces.

Metro 2033 destroys most GPUs with ease and it's dirt cheap.
Other than that, Crysis 3, Metro: LL are top GPU crunchers, IMHO.

Ah cool, I already own Metro 2033 according to Steam, guess I'll try that. The other two are still expensive.

EDIT: also if you use remote install via the steam community website, you can't pick what steam library it installs to. Had to use LogMeIn to connect remotely and fix that.

Im looking at this too. Ideally I wish I jumped on it when it was £20 on PSN store, i'm hoping it'll fall to that price again soon.

Well 1-2 weeks ago it hit £19.99 at The Game Collection, so I put it into Flubit and got it for £17.50. Arrived safe and sound from Zavvi, I think. Just over £20 is still a great price for it, but you never know; it might hit just under again.

Hijacking for the sake of PortugalGAF!

El Corte Ingles (Lisboa) has a few games with low prices:

 • Rhythm Thief - 10€ (3DS)
 • Need for Speed Most Wanted U - 29.99€ (Wii U)

Bought both!

There were a few other 3DS games like Dead or Alive and Resident Evil Mercenaries.

I'm a little displeased with graingergames.co.uk ... they apparently ship you unsealed copies as "new" without mentioning that anywhere. at least they were in near mint condition unlike the messed up box that GAME sold me ...

Just got Pikmin 3 from TheGameCollection, really impressed. It came in a cardboard envelope, so nearly no chance of damage. How do the other shops package games?

Amazon do the whole cardboard envelope thing too. You get so excited because you know, you know what that cardboard envelope is!

Thanks for the info. I ordered the limited edition LCU from shopto and, yeah, the casing was quite damaged because it was so big, not a huge problem. GAME and wowhd don't deliver to my country, zavvi/thehut has only expensive registered delivery so I will probably stick with TheGameCollection for now. They don't have a huge collection of games, but the prices for pre-order items and the packaging are good.

see if https://www.simplygames.com/ tickles your fancy. only ordered from them once (Dishonored PC on launch) but the game came quickly and I think they might have used those cardboard envelopes as well? Not entirely sure.

I saw that too, but I tend to prefer discs/cartridges whenever I can for console titles.

It is pretty hard to tell whether there's plenty of stock left across various websites to lead to discounts in the coming months, or if we are just past the price trough and it's only northwards of £20 from here on out. Like you say, £20 is decent price for what I gather is a great game.

Doesn't seem like they ship internationally.. :-(
(But it's country wide.)

Just checked the Blockbuster website and they have some great deals on some late Wii releases that I've had my eye on for a while.

Pandora's Tower: £9.97 - http://www.blockbuster.co.uk/product/buy-online/wii/wii-games/278966/pandoras-tower.htm

Project Zero II Remake - £12.97 - http://www.blockbuster.co.uk/product/buy-online/wii/wii-games/282077/project-zero-2-wii-edition.htm

they don't seem to be shipping outside of the UK :(

Holy crap, PZ2 bought. Thanks for the heads up.

Is Pandora's Tower any good?

worth the 10 pounds easily.

Click and collect only for me :'(

Tried getting it but no BB stores near me.

Just ordered Lumines Vita for £7.97. Missed it on PS+

Warhammer: Space Marine - £2.97

Is there any service that will take delivery in UK and forward to some other adress? Like there's for USA purchases (couple of them).
