Took the chance on Gamestop accepting 2 games from me, can't really pass up on GTA V for £5.

I'll send back Fire Emblem Awakening and the PS3 version of GTA IV, just bought the complete edition on psn for £6.50 ish

Not going to renew my sub anyway so If you guys want I've got iRacing credit promo codes.

$25 for $20 (might be taken but not sure yet, ask me)
$100 for $75

PM me if you want 'em.

Good luck getting it for around that price. D:

Try Flubit. :)

Flubit only does Amazon items now, and Amazon's price is a full fiver more than Shopto's. Flubit probably wouldn't knock more than £5 off.

Pikmin and W101 have conditioned me to expect sub-£35 Wii U games!

Anyone spotted a good Wind Waker HD deal? I'm willing to go up to £35 but no higher. Lowest I've seen so far is £40, which seems a bit much for a remake.

I noticed Amazon UK hasn't even updated their listing with the new box art yet, so maybe they're going to take another look at their price when they get round to that.

That's a disgusting price for a HD update. I know it's a great game and they're clearly putting in a lot of effort, but they should not be charging the same price as a new release. Even MS had the sense to charge £30 for Halo Anniversary. Makes me feel a bit better about paying £16 for Okami HD as well!

They charged full price for OoT 3D or Star Fox 64 3D on 3DS why would you think they would charge less for the same kind of product on WiiU?

That's good, wonder why its so cheap. I know it says its New, but you have to wonder!

EDIT: Ordered.

I just sold my old 3DS yesterday (still got an XL), so with the money from that, a bunch of 3DS games I've finished going on ebay and the sales of FIFA and the 10 Game pack, the Vita will end up being 'free'. :D

What's the easiest way to sell that Mega Pack and FIFA? I'd rather sell those and buy a 32GB memory card from Amazon for £40. I've already got lots of games to play from my PS+ sub.

They don't deal in second hand at all, you'll be fine.

Amazon are making a really big deal about offering free "release day" shipping until the end of the year so I'd preordered GTA through them and got Rayman this week as a test. The latter not despatched yet which doesn't bode well and I remember last week someone had a similar issue with Wonderful 101, anyone got their stuff on day of release with this at all?

I am sticking it on ebay. I ordered the £39.99 Amazon priced 32gb card the other day, won't be here until next week or week after though. No biggie to be honest, happy to wait :)

Fair enough, although just because they've done it before does not make it okay.

I honestly don't know how I feel about WW HD, I am in a weird situation with it. Wind Waker is my favourite Zelda by far and one of my most loved games ever, but I don't know if I want to play it again. I just don't know.

(What am I saying, when I hear the Outset Island music I won't be able to resist)

I like HD updates in general; I like having the option to play some of my favourite games from last gen given a makeover, but I'm not okay with the publishers wanting £30 or £40 for them. I think Sony has the right idea charging £20-£30 for a collection of 2 or 3 games, but charging full price even for a really slick makeover feels a bit like a piss take to me.

That is a great Vita deal, but it's Play.com....

I personally wouldn't buy it as Play are terrible, but good luck to anyone buying from them. You'll need it.

Such a good offer on the Vita, if we weren't so close to the PS4 launch I would definitely get it. Between that pack and everything I already have on PS+ I'd have almost everything I wanted on the Vita aside from AC: Liberation and Killzone: Mercenary

I thought Play was bankrupt or something? or was that HMV? or was that something else entirely? I keep wondering about that everytime I get a new newsletter.

Play.com became a reseller (They generally only have other companies selling the items on their site rather than being a seller themselves) though I think this was a business choice, I don't think they were ever in any danger of bankruptcy. HMV did go bankrupt in the UK but got bought by the Canadian HMV (I think)

No, Japanese company Rakuten bought them when they were perfectly healthy for a measly £25 million. They turned Play into a reseller site only a la Amazon Marketplace (which, as I understand it they do with all their acquisitions) who only mediate between third party sellers and consumers.

Was just thinking today that with the price drop, upcoming PS4 functionality, and my PS+ library, it might be time to invest in a Vita.

That deal... that deal looks pretty great.

Someone talk me out of it?

Can't mate, even I broke today, it's just too good of a deal. You could get unto £30 back from selling the extras bits if you didn't want them. That means a potential £120 PS Vita? Insanity.

You could potentially put the money towards even more games.
