Wow, EA being generous - EUR 4,99 sale on EU Origin, lots of games :) First time I see something like this, usually only US store gets the discounts.

Is SimplyGames the cheapest place to get a Vita right now? They have it for £176, no memory card or extra game.

Does anyone know if there are any better deals for a Vita, maybe somewhere in Europe with shipping to the UK? Thanks.
 
So is this a regular occurance at Zavvi when you preordered two games and used a 10% off preorder offer. And one game dispatches whilst the other has not and you try cancelling because you no longer want it, but they won't let you cause one has been dispatched? And I'm told to contact customer services :lol and it's just an online enquiry form.

I've written to tell them to cancel the order on the 22nd and another on the 25th and it seems they are fucking stalling on the cancellation, thankfully the game doesn't even have a release date (Aliens: Colonial Marines for the Wii U). And I'm starting to get fucking pissed off at their stall tactics, not even a reply (We aim to reply within 1 working day, pfft). They better cancel it by next week...

I know I've read some people saying they tried to cancel an order and Zavvi told them it can't be cancelled because it was already dispatched, although it wasn't at the time that the email was sent in.

Can't happen here since the game doesn't have a release date and is probably far off, but you never know ;p

I know a lot of people don't like Zavvi, but I don't have anything bad to say about them TBH. I've ordered 5 games from them, and the longest it took for a game to arrive was 2 or 2.5 weeks I think for RDR:GOTY edition. I also ordered AC Brotherhood & Revelations last night, let's see how long it takes it to arrive.

People say their support is shitty, but I don't care as long as I don't have to use it ;p

When you say "Dogma+Expansion" are you referring to Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen? It has been shipped to you already? It's not even out yet, is it?

Wow, why is it so cheap? Just to clarify, this is the entire base game + expansion, right? I really don't understand why it's so ridiculously cheap. Might as well pre-order at that price.

Yep it's both original game + expansions and improvement.

I'd take frame rate over tearing any day, as tearing doesn't really affect gameplay. I just wish I had a larger X360 HDD. Ah well, guess I'll have to delete some more.
 
Any chance Sleeping Dog will get a GotY edition? Or to put it differently, are there any DLCs and if so how good are those?
 
 
SweGAF: Soul Calibur V is on Spelbutiken for only 99 SEK w/ free shipping. I was considering it but I think I'll pass. I'm not a huge fan of the genre. Excellent price though. For those who want the collector's edition, it's on Webhallen for 299 SEK, although you also have to pay for shipping there.

I got an email from Zavvi about my order being dispatched, and in the email I also got a tracking number and a link that leads to nowhere, but I used the standard shipping like I always do.

I always get the "track order" option on my order page on Zavvi that leads to trackmail.co.uk, but I assume everyone else does? the tracking number I got in the email is 6 figures, and it doesn't fit in trackmail.co.uk or the mail tracking website in my country. There is no "track order" for this order, but maybe it takes time for the page to update...

What was it you bought? They often ship things of a certain size, or over a certain value via courier even if you don't pay for it. If that's the case it may take time for your tracking code to be updated into the system, otherwise, it may just be a website screw up.
 
Does anybody know the best method of contacting Shopto? I updated my delivery address yesterday before ordering something and they still dispatched it to my old address. So frustrating.

Edit: just rung them up and the agent on the advised he would call the dispatch team and have it cancelled. Phew.

I ordered Assassin's Creed Double Pack (Brotherhood and Revelations) PS3

Looking into it, only my 2 latest orders had the track order option (this is my fifth purchase from Zavvi, all my orders were games)

I don't see the "track order" option for this order, but I did get the code and link in the email as I've said. Pretty weird.

Anyway, glad I ordered it when it was £16.98... the price is now £36.11 ;o

Yep it's unlikely unless the game was preowned, went in to GAME on Sunday. Almost every game was preowned in there =/ they need a different business model. Else they'll probably repeat their mistakes.
The new games are purposely overpriced so preowned is an attractive option =S

Quick question. I returned a game for a refund on Amazon Marketplace. How do I know if the seller has refunded me? Does it tell you on the website other than checking your bank account?

I think you get an email. I'm selling some stuff at the moment, and I have a refund button on each order which probably just takes the money out of the seller account and sends an automatic email. It's quite possible the seller didn't actually receive the money yet anyway, as Amazon holds it and only pays out every two weeks.
 
I don't mean to bring the Persona 4 Arena wagon of sadness with me, but the US version of it being $24 at Play Asia really rubs salt in the wound :(
