So I just received the Ni No Kuni guide and it is the hardcover, whilst I did order the paperback edition. Not going to complain, but surprised at amazon getting this wrong.

I dunno why GAME's website still has the Metal Gear Rising guide's release date set as TBD when its official release date is Friday. I better fucking get it with my game this week, just as I ordered.

If anyone is interested, Play Asia has all three Atelier ...Arland games on PS3 discounted for ~16€/£13 each.

Sorry for the bad looking post, I'm on my mobile.

In regards to WiiU on Zavvi:

Apparently if you sign up to a new account, and use this code in the referral box ZV19161825 you get it for £202.

That is seriously good if true. I have read this over on HUKD.

Edit: patchy information on this. Zaavi have said on their Facebook that they only have 200 units at this price, so probably sold out now.

Anyone tell me what the normal delivery times are like from game.co.uk? ordered a game on Thursday, dispatched Friday and it still hasn't turned up today :(

Are you in the UK?

It usually arrives within 2 days for me, but things can go wrong at Royal Mails end.

Yeah in the uk. First time i've used game, usually shop2 but they had Assasins Creed for £22.99 on WiiU (plus 5% cashback from quidco) so thought i would give them a go, pleasantly surprised when dispatched the next day, thought well shop2 once dispatched gets me here next day without fail, so slightly disappointed it hasn't yet turned up, but i guess can't complain for the price.

So my US 3DS arrived today and i want to get some things off the eshop, namely fire emblem. I understand i need to use eshop cards but im not sure what one i need to use. I see one for 3DS eshop only and one for nintendo network (wii u and 3ds), what one do i need? Also, wheres the cheapest place to get these?

I've had them take a week in the UK, not sure if it was because it was the Dishonored LE in a bigger than average box which they sent by courier.

This happened to me too a few weeks ago! Shocked me as at the time the hardcover was supposedly out of stock (which is why i ordered the paperback)

Thats because there isn't a paperback version of the guide, one has the Golden Hurley DLC (for the US) and one without (the UK edition).

ok guys i know most people hate game but they have some really good deals.

2 for £20 including mass effect 3 and dishonored (i was genuinely suprised when i saw them in store at that price lol

Yeah their book listing have been a bit screwy as of late for example there are 2 different listings for the Metal Gear Rising guide with one at £22 odd and another at £14.99 that both state they are the hard cover version. Only the fact the the release dates are different and the more expensive one states it's published by Prima in the description which is more than likely the US guide.

The only place I have seen digital download cards is play-asia

Why dont you just use your debit card. It will work out cheaper.

I used them for everything since around 2002 and they'd always get things to me next day. however towards the end of 2011 they changed their delivery system from Royal Mail to Citipost and then it turned into a week long wait to receive anything. They burned me by making me miss out on Dark Souls for release date and I've never used them since.

What controllers does this use for local multiplayer?

Compatible with pretty much any wii/wii u controller. You can use (up to 4 of any combination of) Wiimote, Wiimote + Nunchuck, wii classic controller (pro?), Wii U Pro controller and (1) Gamepad for up to 5 players.

If only all developers were so diligent with controller support.

Is Assassin's Creed III: Liberation (PS Vita) likely to drop to fifteen quid or thereabouts in the future? GAME have it for £22.99 which is the cheapest at the moment.

10% off the hut. Quote to see. Posting this here, since there's nothing for in stock.

Anyone know a good offer for 3d dot game heroes and sleeping dogs in Europe?

For UK price drop, how long does it take for price drop? Does it vary for each game? People say a month or so. I still see DmC Devil May Cry still being priced as ~£35. The game came out like mid January. I suppose 6 months or more.

Varies from game to game. Usually prices drop if a game shipped a lot more copies than people actually bought.

So popular games price drop quickly whereas less popular games don't? I would expect the opposite to maximise profit for top selling games.

My local GAME want £40 for DmC pre-owned, YEESH.

Pricedrop should probably be soon for a game like DmC, though.

£40? What a rip-off. No wonder they are doing bad in business.

Not necessarily popular, just games that the publishers expected to sell better than they did and produced too much of.

Square Enix games seem to drop in price insanely fast, they might ship 1 million units and only sell through 300 000. Where as the price for NISA games stay high for a good while despite selling much much less.

Not quite. Games that the publisher thinks will be popular, thus ships a lot of copies to stores, but ends up selling poorly compared to the amount of games they shipped. Retailers drop the price to get rid of stock.

I'm on my phone so I can't link it just yet but basically DmC is at the same high price for the same reason Asuras wrath was for so long. The publisher has a hand in when things get reduced, especially if they ship a small amount of copies based on preorders

games that come down in price really quickly tend to be massively overshipped.

capcom knew DmC was going to bomb from their preorder data. That's why they cut the marketing budget for the game and haven't tried to encourage sakes with a decent price drop. It will go down in price, just not as fast as most titles.

This looks pretty sweet and really unique. Can anyone give me some impressions?

The games are great in general, I don't know how the 3DS-version is in particular since it haven't arrived yet.
